Sold me and my family a death trap of a car. Was told the car was ‘ready to drive away’ however engine management light came on. Took the car to my local garage to get it code read to be told the car has 20 + faults. The MOT on the car was also dodgy as it should not of passed. The worst part was Joes customer service skills. Straight away we communicated with Joe to let him know the car has faults however Joe was very confrontational and accused us of tampering with the car. We kept getting told ‘well that’s what u get for buying an old car’ ‘you shouldn’t have travelled so far to buy a car’ Thankfully after getting a solicitor involved and knowing my rights we got a full refund which he was very reluctant to give us. I am appalled with the stress you have put my family through and knowingly let us travel 2hrs to a car that was not ‘ready to go’ and letting my family drive back in a death trap.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, I apologise for your experience. We try our utmost to give all customers the best service and the correct information at the time of purchase. This vehicle had under gone all necessary preparation ready for sale; including an MOT, major service inc brakes and wheel bearing replacement. In response to your dissatisfaction, a full Refund was given within 48h of purchasing the vehicle. A repair was offered, but declined. An MOT test was performed by a well established, independent garage following strict VOSA guidelines prior to purchase.
Joseph at JF Motors was great to deal with, very honest and knowledgeable. I am glad to have found the car I was looking for at JF Motors as the experience was trouble free.
JF motors were so helpful, they stayed open late on a saturday to hand over the car, they had cleaned and polished it and it honestly looked like new. They have been in touch since to make sure I'm happy with the car which is great customer service. They were a pleasure to deal with.
