WARNING STAY AWAY!!!

WARNING STAY AWAY!! Bought a car from 1st Car Shop a couple of weeks ago, from Stuart hodges. on road test it seemed fine but there was a vibration on acceleration, he was adamant it was wheel balancing but I said it feels like a driveshaft, (being a mechanic I had a good Idea) nevertheless he said he would sort it for when I picked it up so I bought it. When picking it up it was still vibrating but not as bad, so after a discussion he eventually said he'd give me the money for a driveshaft and I would fit it which I didn't have a problem with, as long as it was only the one needed doing. Anyway took it home and on the way home the clutch started slipping, so rang him and told to which he said "it isn't" but we managed to sort it and he took it back and got the clutch done, sorted no problems. Picked it up and the clutch was sound and still is. However when I have taken it to work and looked underneath I found that both driveshaft required done aswell as the off side anti roll bar link hanging off and both bottom ball joint boots split. So I rang him again simply asking for some money for the driveshaft not the other bits as I was just going to do them myself. He then said I was getting nothing out of him anymore and proceeded to give me abuse and even wanted me to come to his yard and "sort it out" now of course I'm not going to drive all the way from Blackpool to Liverpool for the little guy to swing a miss at me so it's been left there luckily I can afford to put it right myself but the car cost 4000 to begin with and shouldn't be costing me anything to put it right aswell. I should also mention he only gave me "1 month engine and gearbox warranty" Which is illegal in itself, my advice is stay as far away from Stuart and 1st car shop as you can do as it will end up being a nightmare and while you may get lucky and get a decent car there's a high chance you'll get shit on.
