Don't buy a car from here!
Don't purchase a car from here. The 30 day warranty doesn't cover anything and they'll try to pin the blame onto you! Don't get me wrong, Russ who sold me the car was brilliant, really nice guy and very helpful and even stayed late to ensure the payment went through. The issues came the day after I took the car home. I've discovered there are several issues with the car, one being the digital tachometer randomly turning off, a grinding noise on full lock and an air con issue. All of these issues have been raised with Prestige Car Supermarket well within their '30 day warranty' which was one of the selling points for me. Non the less, the car went to a garage that they recommended and was told by them it would have to go to BMW to get fixed as they can't fix the dash. Since I got the car back, communication has been extremely limited until yesterday when I received a call from Paul who is a manager there but I have been told they won't pay for it to go to BMW. He told me that the issues are 'consumables' so aren't covered by their 30 day warranty, it was only a £9k car so what can I expect, the car drives from A to B and that's all it needs to do and now they want to inspect it for crash damage as he's now trying to point the blame on me. The car also still had the previous owners details saved in the computer including his address and phone number so I'm unsure if their 101 point inspection has actually been done to a proper standard. I don't expect the car to be showroom condition and I can understand there being some issues as any car does, the main point is how I've been treated and the un-needed stress it's added to me. Would they treat me the same if it was a £50k car? As I was looking at purchasing a Porsche Taycan from them through my business but won't be any more. Again, the sales part was fab and Russ did a perfect job but the after sales and their "30 day warranty" is not what they sell you it as. Paul has treated me like rubbish and tried to pin all the blame on me. I've now gone through my solicitor to seek advice due to wanting to get the car independently looked at which I'm having to pay for myself which I'm fine with as at the end of the day, it's not about the money, it's the principle of how they treat their customers. The value of the car shouldn't effect this. Not very "prestige".
