I bought a second hand 1 Series BMW from Auto Elite and after 6 weeks we noticed a different sound from the engine. We understood the problem to be a timing chain issue and a minor hand break issue. We called Auto Elite and they said just bring the car in. Replacing the timing chain is a large job and requires the engine to be removed. Not a problem Auto Elite removed the engine and replaced the timing chain, they also noticed that the clutch was very close to being worn out. They just replaced it. Only when we went back to collect the car they informed us what had been done. Buying second hand cars can be a minefield, so knowing that if you have a problem that the people you bought from will sort the issue out is worth a great deal. Thank you very much Auto Elite...
