This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. I hed problems from day 1. After buying the car on finanace it took them 2 weeks to get it prepared for handover. I had to keep contacting them to ask when it would be ready and they kept fobbing me off. The day it was ready i had to ring them to find out what was happening. They told me the car should be ready for today it got to around 4 o clock and still no phone call so i rang them again. They said the car is just getting valeted and hoovered out as we speak and it will be ready today. We got to Autopark to pick the car up only to realise the break light was out and the wipers heavly worn. This is for a car that passed its MOT with no faults 3 days before. We noticedthe car was a mess inside and had not been hoovered or valeted like they told us. The MOT certificate had more miles on it that the car actually had. 19 days later the water pump goes and they ask us to take it to there dodgey repair garage around the corner. They aparantly fixed it but the same day it is still leaking so we contact finanace company and arrange an independent inspection. The inspection confirms the water pump is leaking and exhaust need replacing. We then decided to reject the car as they already had a chance to fix it but they made it worse. Autopark then ask us to take it to there dodgey repair garage around the corner for them to look at it. They told us they had fixed it agen but this time is was the water pump seal. Same day same problem. Still leaking and now the car is struggling to start. We were told we needed the invoices from both repairs to reject the car but they kept telling us they were going to send them but we never recive them. The finance comapny then tried to obtain the invoices but they are fobbing them off too to try and stop us rejecting the car. The car is completely knackered and sturggled to start so had to be towed back the Autopark.

I have had a similar experience with this place and just wish I had read the other peoples reviews who have also had the misfortune of dealing with this dodgy outfit, avoid at all costs
This is one of those shoddy companies that changes names when reviews get bad. Bought a 4x4 from these a few years ago now. The vehicle was shocking, had to take it back to them multiple times and had to take it myself to the dirty little local garage nearby and contact them myself. This dealership washed their hands of the vehicle and would not respond to calls eventually. The local garage in the littleburn industrial estate where they get their dubious MOT's from have no idea about cars. They installed parts of the gearbox the wrong way around which meant they had to order new parts again. They then got the 4x4 stuck in 4 low. The vehicle had multiple oil leaks which were still there after all the work was done. They was no way legally the 4x4 would have got through an MOT. The garage even told me they don't like doing work for them as it always causes trouble. The manager/owner became quite aggressive once I had had enough of the BS. I ended up taking it elsewhere to get sorted and eventually got rid of the heap. Stay clear of this place please, As soon as something is wrong with the cars your warranty and their customer service goes out the window. They will wangle their way out of doing anything. Now they might use a different repair garage now I don't know but can only go off what they were doing before. They have not closed down but have just changed names. They don't have different departments, So they do not have a customer service department it is simply the same phone line and will not get answered as quick as the sales if not at all. There are other much better car sales places around. Just stop and think what you are doing and do not rush into anything. Yes you may get a great car from them, but when you end up with a lemon they simply do not take responsibility for them. The sign of a good business is how you deal with issues. People do not mind when someone owns up to problems and deals with them, When you ignore and lie that is when people are offended and get upset. You can clearly see when the false fake positive reviews are made as people simply do not write reviews in the manner they are written. Take note of all the negative reviews they are justified.
Buy from us Autopark has not closed down and simply trades under a different name. It’s still has the same Jim and Russel in charge ready to rip you off! They trade as buy from us uk. Read all the reviews which include true stories about cars that break down within a few Miles of driving away, the time it takes to Repair a broken car and the lack of communication people suffer. It should be called ‘don’t buy from us uk autopark’!!
I bought a car from here and at first I thought it was great,after a little while things started to go wrong with it,I never received my warranty which I was promised,now the exhaust pipe has snapped,it stinks of petrol and burning and I'm too scared to drive it to a garage,it has been making a weird noise before the exhaust pipe snapped and was told it could be the manifold and if so its going to cost nearly a grand to get it fixed. I've tried ringing and emailing the garage and heard nothing, so now I'm stuck with a car on my drive that I am paying for but can't use,I need my car for work and this garage is a joke. My daughter also bought a car from here just before I did and hers has been in getting fixed with the exact same problem. Avoid this garage as the cars they sell are wrecks
After buying a car from Buy from us Autopark, I have several major issues, I have them a chance to repair, which they could not. Long story short, I’ve ended up having to take the car to the main dealer to get the car inspected and have to take them to court to get my money back. Possibly the worse garage in the uk, I would stay well away unless your ok with a lot of stress and hassle.
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews stating autopark doesn’t hassle you when looking for a car. That’s because they are lazy and see you more as an inconvenience and simply want the deal without any help to offer. Not one of them know anything about cars and not one of them can make any sort of decision without reporting back (guessing he’s the manager) WORST decision I’ve ever made to buy from here

Hi 'ANONYMOUS ', we are looking at your comments but your anonymity does detract from the credibility of your review, never the less we respond to it as follows, yes we agree we do got a huge number of positive reviews and we do pride ourselves in the fact that we do not pressure customers but are always there to help them make an informed decision. Our sales team are hard working contrary to your comments which I think insults customers when you imply that they purchase without having any help, strange comment by you but as said earlier are you really a credible and genuine reviewer ? don't think so. Our sales team have an immense knowledge about cars so totally don't know where your coming from. Regarding your comments about our decision making processes, once again don't understand where your coming from with this, it happens thousands of times a day in all types of businesses and organisations where a member of staff gets input from a more senior person, quite normal, but obviously not in your world. I would like to look into this matter for you (of course if your a genuine reviewer) so could text me your vehicle reg to 07944538618 so i may investigate.
Helpful, friendly staff who are easy to deal with; certainly went the extra mile. Would definitely recommend them.
where do I start, Buy from us autopark is a disgrace. The cars are dirty and uncared for. The car had a flat battery on arrival, that was just start of the problems, I should of walked away at that point and saved myself a lot of stress. I have read their reviews and can only assume the positive ones are left be themselves. The aftercar is non existant and they try and get you to pay for faults that are present at point of sale. Russel who works there is rude and very unhelpful once a problem is reported. Save your self some grief and buy elsewhere!!

Hi 'DISSAPOINTED B' where do I start, dont know which cars you were looking at as the stock on our forecourt is well presented and cared for, perhaps you could avail me the time to walk around our forecourt with me to back up your comments, regarding your comment re a flat battery you fail to give any detail as to make model etc, find this a bit odd, please note your assumption regarding our positive reviews is incorrect, our positive reviews are from genuine customers (evidence available), this makes your comment libellous and subject to legal action, will come back to that further on. We keep statistics of our aftercare to customers and ours are well well above the industry benchmark (evidence available), also if there were faults present at the time of sale why did you buy it, and we would never ask a customer to pay, doesn't make sense to me, there are always two sides to a story, as regards your comment on Russel, totally disagree with you, he's a very polite young man and gets dozens of nice reviews from nice customers, perhaps you should look at your behaviour first in dealing with him before commenting on his, if you want me as a senior person in the company to investigate this matter then please text me your registration number to 07944538618 so I can locate your details.

One of the worst financial decisions I ever made. I agreed to a deal with Durham Autopark on behalf of MotoNovo finance in August 2016. The car lasted me less than 3 months total before the engine suffered irreparable damage due to longstanding mechanical faults present at the point of purchase (-as well as a wealth of more minor faults that should have also been caught by the dealership – some which would flag as a MOT failure, I might add!). Upon reporting this to Durham Autopark I encountered the least helpful service I have potentially ever received from any sale I have been part of. No customer service phone number to speak to anyone and a BARELY responsive customer services email address that replies with little-to-no advice or concern shown at all. That became a dead end very rapidly. I then went to citizens advice who informed that MotoNovo are the financiers and therefore my agreement/complaint was actually with them. That’ll explain the less than helpful customer service from Durham Autopark, then. A less stubborn person would have frustratingly given up here and I wonder how many first time buyers or less mentally strong persons have suffered a similar fate - previously, with complaints unheard by MotoNovo due to negligent dealerships not showing any care or concern to help direct. In fact, due to the sheer worry and stress of it all, I actually had to forget about it over the Xmas period and soldier on with my Xmas Winter shopping on foot. It really did damage my mental state at the time. Gifts that my family had bought me that year, such as dash cams and car accessories never got given so a snot to rub insult to injury. Eventually, I managed to get the ball rolling on my complaint with MotoNovo who accepted my statements and began contacting the dealership themselves. Moving on, I was then forced to pay for a diagnostic inspection and was loosely promised a reimbursement at some stage – IF the liability was found to not be in my favour. So further cost. During all of this and even now, I have been paying for road tax and car insurance for a car that does not move. Contractually this was necessary, despite the circumstances. I am also paying my monthly agreement on the car itself. COST COST COST and further COST. I was forced to await until pay day to complete this request and in the meantime, MotoNovo closed my complaint. I fought this and they reluctantly re-opened it. After a series of calls and email from myself pushing the complaint forward and reminding MotoNovo of the current situation - I finally managed to get MotoNovo to make the dealership I originally bought it from, collect the car in order to take it back to the dealership for a thorough inspection. They turned up ALSO expecting a running car and then had to improvise with the pickup vehicle's winch system which was clearly harder work that they hadn’t prepared for. They verbalised that to me, too – as well as asking what was wrong with it. A 4 - 5 month period then passes with no contact from MotoNovo regarding my complaint. Once again, it lies with me to push the complaint forward. I sent an email advising that I believed all the extra costs incurred and time delaying tactics employed by Durham Autopark and MotoNovo were deliberate and an attempt to exasperate my efforts and finances. Eventually I received a response - via email. Motonovo had agreed to turn over the complaint and reimburse me for only 5 months of my 12 month contract, based on mileage done. I was just happy to be released from paying for a non-road worthy car, frankly. It took until late-November 2017 for me to see any reimbursement. Whenever I called or emailed I get what I call in my work office a “nothing answer” back (no commitment to a set time period). As they dragged their heels on the refund, I was afraid that I'd be forced to walk to work and back though ANOTHER Winter (approaching 13 months without transport, despite STILL paying for road tax, the car and insurance). All in all – DO NOT EVER TRUST either Durham Autopark or Motonovo finance.
