unwillingness to help

Saw a car from this dealer advertised on auto trader my partner wanted to go have a look at it so we went down was giving the key to have a look at the car checked it all over everything seemed OK until we noticed a long scratch alongside the drivers side front bumper so I asked if they could maybe knock something off the price for that damage as that wasent pointed out when we inspected the car on top of that we wasn't even allowed to test drive the car because it was too late as they was closing. We had a think about it and decided to leave a deposit on the car because my partner liked the car and they seemed nice enough until we parted with our money. We wasent able to drive home the same night as they said there had to be a few checks done in their garage on the car so we decided we would come back either Monday or Tuesday but when we decided to collect the car he wasn't willing to wait for us because he had to go early bearing in mind we would have been on time to collect it. So at that point the salesman started to show me signs of I'm not sure if we should go through with this deal as his unwillingness to help was enough. Anyway me and my mate decided to go down and asked for the deposit back. he said you ain't getting your deposit back in a angry foul mouthed, so we decided to walk away.
