Where's my money?

I am in the process of buying a car and have made payment 48 hours ago via a faster payment. I was promised that confirmation of payment, from BMW, would be provided within the hour. 48 hours later, 30 phone calls, 20 emails, 2 complaints to BMW UK, 1 direct complaint to the Head of Business at BMW (and a partridge in a pear tree) later and I'm still having to chase up for confirmation of receipt of funds. As with most BMW's the funds transferred are substantial and could potentially have been used to buy a row of houses in Hartlepool. The best line I've had back so far is that because most of accounts are on Furlough there is a delay in communication. Can I suggest you bring them back of furlough so that legal compliance can be met or close until you are ready to 'do business'.
