Issues with the car, no response

I purchased a Golf R from Corus on May 23rd and immediately noticed a humming noise. John at Corus advised me to get a wheel alignment, which I paid for out of pocket. Later, the car experienced idling issues, requiring a 200-mile round trip to have cam magnets installed which ended up being non-OEM. While the idling was resolved, the humming persisted, eventually traced to a faulty wheel bearing, which was replaced under warranty. Further issues arose when Corus's mechanic blamed budget tyres (fitted at the point of sale) for the persistent humming. These tyres were deemed unsuitable for the car, with Corus' mechanic stating he "would not put them on my own car, let alone a customers car". Corus replaced them with part-worn tyres, but one was found to be illegal, with no tread and cracks, upon inspection at a local garage. Corus initially refused to pay for a replacement tyre but later reluctantly reimbursed £84 for a new Goodyear tyre after I refused to drive on the unsafe tyre. I also reported white smoke from the exhaust as early as July 23rd. Corus falsely accused me of remapping the car to dismiss this issue. Eventually, independent diagnostics confirmed a faulty turbo, requiring a replacement. The warranty covered £2,000 of the £2,259.78 repair cost, but Corus refused to cover the remaining £259.78 because I opted to recondition the original turbo to comply with insurance requirements. Corus insisted on using a cheaper aftermarket turbo, which would have risked voiding my insurance. Since purchase, the car has required significant repairs, including three wheel bearings, a turbo, a PCV valve, cam magnets, and all four tyres, totaling over £3,000. Corus has been uncooperative, repeatedly directing me to the warranty company rather than taking accountability for their failings. Despite contacting Corus twice to address the unresolved costs, my messages have been ignored. In summary, my experience with Corus has been overwhelmingly negative. The car has had continuous issues, and Corus has failed to provide adequate support or take responsibility for their shortcomings. I strongly recommend avoiding this garage.
