Avoid at all costs

Avoid Evans Halshaw Doncaster at all costs! I bought a car from them a year ago and took the vehicle back on the day I purchased it for a fault. To this day the fault is not fixed and they are now refusing to do any work on it despite taking it back around 6 times! I don’t live local and have had to make 2 hour round trips back and forth taking the vehicle back. It’s seems as soon as they have your money they don’t want to know and the customer service is non-existent. The managers never seem to be in or free and when they are they avoid having a conversation. I’ve been told countless times that I will receive a call back and never get one. I presume this is so you eventually give up contacting them and they don’t have to part with any money to fix the issue. I was pestered to buy a guarantee and to this day have not been able to use it to rectify the fault. I’ve recently had a child and have still been trying to sort this fault out which has caused a massive amount of stress and anxiety as i bought the vehicle especially for when my child was born. I can’t even enjoy the vehicle as driving on the motorway is not an option due to the fault. I’ve never know customer service like it. If you want a smooth hassle free experience I’d take your money elsewhere. I could go on about the issues and lack of service. I’m in the process of speaking with an ombudsman to try and get them to deal with this matter and may have to take legal action against Evans Halshaw.
