Appalling after care/ after service
Bought my Vauxhall grandland x in January 2024,paid a thousand pounds extra warranty ( piece of mind) as I'm a foster carer/ grandma have toddlers in everyday & need reliability, I do alot of driving around. Sold by sales assistant Avaies & sales manager Hasan . In June 2024 a problem occurred & got worse,took to Wakefield & I needed an instrument panel( I knew nothing of the expense of this part)£12/1300 fitted! And guess what not covered by the warranty! Few complaints, e mails, wrong telephone numbers given ,ignored & fobbed off over & over & still here & nothing! So gone higher & complaints procedure, still nothing ( I will add Hasan never replied to me but Avaies did many times & was as helpful as he possibly could. Today for the first time I needed a new tyre,went to the garage to find out they've not left me a wheel locking key when I've purchased the car! So can't remove the tyre i rung up to be told its too late it's Over a year & the phone put down on me! Absolutely the last straw I'm absolutely disgusted with their customer service & aftercare.Not just £10,000 for a car but £995 extra warranty for a major thing to go wrong less than 5 months later & not be covered! what a farse of a company. I shall be shouting from the rooftops telling people to stay well clear! Shame on you evans halshaw Hyundai Leeds! I was so excited buying a newish car & driving away happy,not anymore!
