Wouldn't bother bought a Mégane from here the dephaser broke on it . Had absolutely no choice to get car towed to a garage. These Muppets won't answer the phone as by law they have to give you 30 days warranty. Quote of £500 to fix the car so now in the middle of going through small claims

Don't buy from this place. I bought a car from there. The car I bought from them had an alternator which someone had welded a clutch pulley rigid onto a stop start alternator that caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage, it seized the upper tensioner, damaged the lower tensioner and completely damaged the alternator, which is a £700 new part to replace not inc labour, as it is a stop and start car. The sales said they knew anything about it and then blamed the previous owner. The sales then said it was taken in part exchange and they had not checked the car. So they admitted they sell cars without checking they are fit to sell. The dealer would do zero and did not want to know. The repair garage I got towed into showed me the welding that had been done to the stop start alternator that the clutch pulley was welded rigid so could never be removed, The repair garage took photos. A replacement alternator was required which are extremely expensive being a stop and start type car. The bodge welding repair to the alternator caused seizure of one tensioner and damaged the other. This caused multiple engine fault codes and the car could not be driven. This breakdown and repair was at my own expense and left without a car while being repaired. The dealer at Happy Motors Blackburn said the warranty did not cover these type of issues. I am reporting this car sales place to Trading Standards. Stay well away avoid!

"AVOID Fraudulent, Lying Oxygen Thieves "

Fraudulent, lying, disgusting oxygen thieves. We bought a car from them and then when we rang up to chase proof of purchase they pretended we hadn’t bough it from them. Done some digging and they trade under three different names and professional con artists. Luckily I have proof of the car being on their forecourt when we bought it etc. I have reported them to police.

Bought a vw tiguan from this dealership. Only checked autotrader reviews sadly and found these afterwards. After bringing the car home the next day the coolant was empty and warning light on (he must have known about this and filled it before we bought it). We phoned him and he told us to have it looked at and he would cover the cost. Our mechanic advised he thought it might be the head gasket. We called the dealer who got angry and disputed this and demanded we return the car to him for checks. He refused to collect it. We took it to a vw specialist for checks (as we didn't trust him) who confirmed there was a serious fault with the car (head gasket or cracked cylinder - either way a huge job). In accordance with our consumer rights we rejected the car and requested a full refund. He still insisted on us returning the car and his mechanic checking it. We did that and when his garage found the same thing he blamed us for driving the car and making the problem worse!!!! After us spending 400 quid on the car he then knocked a further 400 off and wouldn't pay us the full price. He made the whole process extremely difficult and completely robbed us. Do not trust him. Don't go near him. We will be doing whatever we can to hold him accountable. Complete crook.

Daughter bought a car in June 2021. Had nothing but problems. Exhaust. Gear box and clutch us knackered. We called them and they said they may help with the gear box but nothing else. So called bluff warranty said it was covered. We have tried to call all the phone numbers and no answer. We have been in touch with citizens advice and we are going to get legal help. Do not buy a car from these con artists. NO NO NO. STAY AWAY.

Angry Customer in response to Absolutely disgusting

I've found myself in a very similar situation buying from here. Unfortunately I didn't search the dealership until problems started with the car the following day. I was wondering if you ever managed to resolve it with them?

"Scam! Dodgy bank transfer! Fake warranty"

Scammers. I read real reviews before purchasing but dismissed them as I understand occasional problems can arise and some customers can have bad experiences, but everything the bad reviews said, happened to me. Everything from the bad reviews happened to me and the compliment seem to make out its normal. When picking up my car they were using tipex on a while Peugeot to cover up marks. I was promised to take the car on a duel carriageway but wasn’t allowed during the test drive. Also they wouldn’t allow me to pay via credit card, I had to literally transfer five grand into someone’s bank account which caused my bank to go mental and was flagged up as extremely suspicious. The 3 month warranty is a lie as all the other reviews also have experience with not getting it. They trade under about 6 different names and as soon as you buy from them they block your number on the forecourt as I’ve been trying to contact them since I bought it as my car broke down the next day. The problem cost me £400 in just parts alone, the very next day when the car went into limp mode on the way to work. They could have easily resolved it if I was able to contact them. My garage said they could see the ‘dealer’ cleared the fault codes off the car which was enough for me to drive away. No warranty was ever posted to me as promised as contacting them is impossible when they block you. As I said, once they have your money they block you. AVOID. The car had excessive side wall damage to the tyres which would have meant 8 points on my license, they superglued them back down and said not an issue. They also coat everything in that oil stuff to make the leather look new, this will ruin your clothes. The bad reviews aren’t angry customers, they’re our actual experiences with these crooks. There are so many better and honest places out there, use somewhere else or mark my words it will be you next. I wish I listened to the other reviews.

We seen the car advertised that we wanted so arrange a meeting to go down and have a look at the car, everything seemed ok with the car and he said it all so came with warranty wise cover , he gave us a leaflet in his office and said we would get a email within 5 days, all seemed good so we went ahead and bought the car for £2500 , about 10 days into having the car we had to get the rac out to the car where he said there was a major fault on the car and to contact the garage we bought if from . We contacted the garage about the warranty wise cover , he said he had no idea what we were going on about the warranty was his word,, never heard nothing like that b4 ,. He agreed to fix the car but after a couple of days of having the car he wanted more money off us or the warranty would be invalid even though it wasn’t a proper warranty . After all the trouble we had here we told him we wanted a full refund but he turned around and said he was taking his money out for the repairs even though he said it was his warranty ,in the end after after having the car for 10 days he kept nearly £500 of our money , DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PLACE , the MAN is a conman and is only out to rip people off STAY AWAY
