I work as a front line worker for the NHS and my partner and I purchased a gorgeous looking XC60 from JJ Premium Cars the end of last October. First night we got home we realised that the central locking on the passenger door was not locking so had to return next evening for new door central locking activator. At the beginning of January the engine management light came on we took it to our local garage for a diagnostic test which we paid for. We found out there was a fault with the EGR valve/cooler. We had the EGR valve changed in our garage under our warranty. The engine management light came back on couple of days later so contacted JJ premium cars and they said they would fix it and give us a courtesy car in the meantime. A few days after having the car back the engine management light came back on. I took it again to an independent garage for a diagnostic test and found the same fault code was evident. JJ Premium cars offered to fix car yet again and give me another courtesy car but we decided we wanted a refund as we deemed the car was not fit for purpose. We lost a substantial amount and found JJ PREMIUM CARS to be underhanded

Dear Jacqueline, We are sorry that you experienced an issue with your central locking, as soon as you made us aware that the system had failed we booked you in within 24 hours and repaired the fault. You then drove the vehicle for 3 months covering over 2,200 miles and then unfortunately the vehicle's engine management light came on. The service centre you chose to take the vehicle to, opened a warranty claim using your extended warranty policy for an EGR valve which was authorised and replaced however later turned out to be a misdiagnosis and incorrect repair, leading to the engine management light coming on again. You then contacted us and expressed your frustration given your situation at which point we kindly offered you to bring the vehicle back to us and we would carry out the repair for you under warranty. The contribution the warranty company were willing to make was limited for this repair due to the misdiagnosis of the previous repairing garage which they had already paid out on. Due to this fact you were asked if you wanted a refurbished used part to be used in the repair to save on your costs as you now had a small liability on costs. As a gesture of good will we also offered to cover the labour cost. You asked if the used part turned out to be faulty would it be covered, to which you were advised that should that part fail which there is a possibility it could it is covered under guarantee and we would be happy to swap it out for a new one should this be the case. You chose to take the risk on the used part and it did unfortunately fail. You decided you wanted a refund which we were reluctant to do given your usage however we did agree to buy the vehicle back from you. This was agreed at your purchase price minus a mileage usage charge which is fair and inline with the law. We feel that we did everything we could to help you as a valued customer. would put 0 stars if I could, I would not buy from this company EVER. We turned up after booking an appointment to view a car displayed on JJ premium cars website, even called prior to the viewing - speaking to the sales manager, as we found out the car had prior finance that they had neglected to mention (double check before you buy). The manager reassured us this was normal. When we turned up we were handed keys by a mechanic to look around the car, the car itself was nice. During this time I tried starring the engine -nothing. The dashboard kept blinking almost as if it was glitching. I also noticed the dashboard saying incorrect pin. After about 5-10 minutes a sales rep came out,this is where the big problems started. We asked him to start the car, he couldn't do it. He then told us that the car needed a jump start as somebody had left the radio on- they jump started the car. We asked the guy for the pin for the machine - he didn't know that either. We then tried the engine and when we accelerated the engine started jumping. We told this to the rep, again, he did not know why. He called the mechanic over who looked us straight in the eye and told us this was normal for this make of car. Which wasn't true, as we have another of the same make of car at home, which has never done this. When we told this to them they did not have a response, so had obviously just lied to us. We then called them out for not checking over the car to which they admitted that the car had not been inspected in over 3 months. The rep had no response what so ever. At this point we walked away. Although the website for this company looks fancy and reputable they are far from it. I would AVOID this company at all costs! There is no customer service what so ever and I would not trust the vehicles they are selling AT ALL.

All of our vehicles go through the workshop and are subjected to a 114 point mechanical check, it was disappointing the car did not start on your inspection, however the car was checked in the morning prior to your appointment and started at this point. If the battery needed replacing we would have been more than happy to replace that for you immediately. Sold me a broker car which I have been dealing with over the last year. Sold with fuel leaking and oil leaking . Took a month for them to fix it back and forth . Only to find out they sealed up the oil alright but the piston rings had gone on it . Engine block had to be removed and on inspection I find that the whole thing has been a scam and the engine block has been welded where a rod had probably blown out the side of it previously . Im shocked with how this company have treated me! I went to purchase an Abarth 500 and was asked by the salesman Paul to put a £100 reservation fee on the car to which I did. I was told this money would be returned to me when I went and signed the documents.. i did a round trip of over 300miles to go and see the car and decided to sign the documents. Paul then told me that it would be refunded to me within 3-5 working days and he would speak to his accounting team on Monday 14/09 and get the refund processed to me. I then asked on monday if this had been processed and was told again that it would be the next working day. I explained that I needed this money back due to borrowing it from my partner which paul was fully aware of and he again told me that It would be processed on that day. Due to changes in the service history of the car the salesmans' story continuously changing i decided i would not go ahead with the deal (which I had the right to within 14 days) and explained that due to working for the NHS I needed a car that was more reliable and not heavily modified with no receipts... the sales manager was then very rude to me down the phone stating that they will not return the money to me as this was a 'deposit'. At no point as the customer was i told that I would only get the £100 back if I drove the car away. I was told the day before I cancelled that Paul would be having it transferred directly into my account and he took my account details to do this for me on the Wednesday. When I then cancelled I was told this cannot be done and I would need to get the car in order to get the money back. I asked for no additional work to be done on this car just simply checked over throughly as I had found the previous owner on Instagram doing 3 gear burn outs in it and constantly revving the engine to make it spit flames. As a customer this concerned me. I also found yellow gunk in the oil cap when the car was 'freshly serviced' I was within my right to ask for a through inspection before picking it up. I also have text evidence that this salesman was going to process my refund and now they have told me its human error and have no means or giving me my £100 fee back, how can it be human error when I was told 3 times it would be refunded to me? I have tried calling back and they will not answer the phone to me... i tried called the accounts department to be put through and the sales manager or director and they put the phone down on me also... this is absolutely disgusting that they feel they can treat someone this way. They never said that this money wouldn't be refunded if I didn't purchase the car... NOT ONCE. STAY AWAY.

I was dealing with the sales man Paul he is the best salesman I have dealt with ever and I have bought a lot of cars in my time. I traveled 5 hours to JJ Premium Cars to pick up a purchased Range Rover Evoque for £15,000. I had paid the deposit of £500, 10 days before. Upon arriving the car was dirty along with a flat rear offside tyre "Which has now been found to have a puncture" The Cigarette lighter was missing just a hole with wires hanging out and the front main headlight had a bulb not working. The car was supposed to go through a thorough check and a full service. "Yeah Right" After my return home, I have now found out the following. The Front Brake Pads and disks were at the limit of dangerous and the car had in fact NOT been serviced at all. No invoice to prove a full service and No MOT paperwork provided. The headlight had clearly not been looked at as a bulb was out along with the airbox being loose. Added to the fact that inlet pipe into the airbox had bolts missing to fix the unit to the chassis and no dust cover was fitted to the back of the light. As far as i am concerned no Due diligence was taken at all. Please just be very aware of this dealer as there is definitely NO premium service here at all......

We have asked you on multiple occasions to provide proof of the issues you have raised however you have been unable to provide us with any evidence in relation to your claim. All of our vehicles receive a 114 point check prior to going on sale of which your vehicle is no different. The only fault found in your vehicles 114 point check were the front wiper blades which were replaced and you have the invoice in your pack to confirm. We can agree that your vehicle was dirty when you arrived however this is due to you arriving unannounced 2 days early. This I’m sure you can agree was completely out of our control.
