AVOID AVOID AVOID. MB Motor Group are unhelpful, unreliable and unprofessional. They are full of advice and promises when selling you a car however if you then have any issue with your purchase their customer service is non-existent. I have made over 25 phone calls to try to resolve issues with always the same response ‘I need to speak to the owner, I’ll ring you back in half an hour.’ Don’t wait by the phone, I think I had two returned calls from over 25 calls made. A month after purchasing and returning the vehicle I am still over £400 out of pocket. Final word of warning, if you are daft enough to buy from them tax it on monthly DD so you can cancel. I paid for a full year and can’t get a refund because they don’t send the log book to DVLA until after the warranty. Now the car has been returned they refuse to send it at all! Disgraceful company

Do. Not. By from this company and do not use Tong Road Motors who lie about the quality of any car purchased from MB motor group. I have just manged to get MB motor group via zuto to unwind my finance deal as MB motor group sold me a car that had a damaged drive shalf but tried to deny it and the car had been involved in an accident but repaired without telling the insurance company. Tong Road Motors told be the car was safe to drive even though a drive shaft when damaged can lock up sending me into the path of another car or worse a child. All MB motor group tried to do was cover it up there a bunch of cowboys and you never buy a car from them.
Really happy with the service I received especially from Tony! Great salesman!
Bought Vauxhall Astra elite from M B motor company in March and so far couldn’t be happier.Special thanks in particular to Richard who knew we were travelling best part of 200 miles to view car,his information about the car was spot on and made the purchase of the car very easy.A pleasure to deal with.
I bought a used car some weeks ago. We were advised by the salesman at MB Motor Group that the car would undergo a very comprehensive 60 point check. This obviously was not the case, I had to return my car after a week as it was mis-firing and a warning message had come on. After 2 days they couldn't find anything, the salesman said it had been driven and checked over. Don't know how the mechanic could have missed the misfiring as it is still mis firing. I took the car to a local garage. It has a slow puncture, there was no coolant and the air filter was not correctly fitted into the manifold. My local garage confirmed that these things should not have been missed. Not sure who was responsible for the checks being signed off but they are clearly not doing their job properly whoever it is
Ian Hargreaves in response to checks not carried out
I too have bought a car last saturday, Engine management light came on within 5 hrs driving home, had it checked at my local garage on diagnostic machine , came up with EGR Valve fault, apparently not covered by the 3 month warrenty, still attempting to sort out either full refund or them paying my local garage to replace EGR and solving problem, without having to travel back to Leeds,
What company sells vehicles but doesn't allow test drives/rides were supposed to just trust their service team always do the job to 100% accuracy if they even check what they sell . I went to look at a suzuki bandit only to be told 30k is low millage on a bike but it's not low by any means but they dint have any motorcycle experts in so dont blame car salesman for trying .haven't and wont buy from here
I came in to look at a few different cars. Under inspection they weren't very helpfull. The cars had rust patches that had been covered by poor paint work the air conditioning was broken. The the car we viewed had glass shards in the boot. Making me think someone had smashed the back window. car had been washed and cleaned yet had a damp smell to it and smelt like someone had been sick in the car. To be bluntly honest if your thinking of buying a car from mb motors from the Internet go in and check them out first and do a free hpi check using an app because when I did the car had a fault with the oil chamber causing a leak when asking the salesmen he said if it had an oil leak you'd see the oil on the floor. not if the car had no oil to begin with. Which it didn't because I checked. I wouldn't of minded to buy the car as it was a nice car but due to there honesty I and attitude of certain people its hard to trust a lot of what they say. I if I'm going to spend 8-10k on a car I want it to be at least safe to drive and and road worthy and presentable. It seems like there west Yorkshire best con artists. If you buy from here read the warranty and make sure you buy a warranty just incase because you will need it down the line and always ask for a extended test drive. Hope this review helps people learn about MB Motor Group.
Very professional, friendly, and purchase went very smoothly and quick. Very happy with my new car and it was showroom perfect. Every car they had was imaculate and very very smart. Would definitely use MB Motor Group again. Thankyou.
The team at MB Motors Leeds branch were fantastic. When I got there, Terry and Tom welcome me and they handled the sales process very well. Terry was very reassuring and he make me to be 100% confident that I’m driving away my car. It was a nice car and I’m very pleased with the services I received. I will definitely recommend MB Motors to anyone who want a nice and clean car.
Please do not buy from MB Motor Group. I got the car on line had it picked up to bring back to lincoln : panels had fall off lights were condinsated. And funny noise coming from engine , after many phone calked emails, which weren’t helpful I agree to have the repairs done m so had to get a friend to take back to Leeds, iv hardly drove this car so with in a week the clutch starts sticking can’t get it in gear so f it goes to a garage to b told oil leaking from the transport box. Brake and clutch fluid leaking inside gear box which is the clutch sleeve cylinder: this is a massive job and going to b very costly : so again ring them up , bearing in mind I can’t drive the car , terry who sold me the car laughed wen I said who it was, won’t do a thing I have to take it back to them on a transporter which is more money , the car is a bag of crap and iv been fiddled out of my money : the sales man terry kept saying what do u expect it’s done over 90 thousand miles , wen I pulled him up on this he then goes to Denie he said that : phone put down on me twice : I’m totally gutted as nearly 14 thousand pound cash down the drain, how do these people sleep at night I don’t no : please please do not buy from these people they are scam artists
