I recently visited R&W Motor Company with my wife as she was looking to buy a L405 Range Rover. The selection and quality of pre-owned vehicles was truly unrivalled and although we were very specific about what we wanted within just 30 minutes we had agreed a deal. The owner, Waleed and Sabah were not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also made the whole experience an absolute pleasure which is so refreshing. They were really helpful making arrangements for the vehicle to have a couple of additional service items done prior to me collecting a couple of days later. All the paperwork which included some finance, warranty etc was done so quickly. It really was seamless and when I picked up the vehicle I was amazed at the quality of the detailing. Being a black car the paintwork genuinely looked like new with absolutely no scratches visible which for a car with 60,000 miles is pretty unusual. All in all, an 'amazing' customer experience and therefore I would highly recommend Waleed and Sabah at R&W Motor Co. to any of my friends and family looking to buy a car.
Wow! I have bought some cars over the years and this has by far been the BEST experience. From the first phone call I knew this place was going to be great! Made the whole thing feel really special, were honest, down the earth and just wonderful people. Will 100% be coming back and HIGHLY recommend! They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.
Buying a car and leaving a deposit without even seeing it would under normal circumstances be a none starter however Covid has changed that..I had been looking for some time for a Range Rover Supercharged petrol a few years old and with relatively low mileage when I came across one at R & W .My first action was to look up R&W at companies house and I was pleased to see they had been trading for some years and very much a family business .The customer reviews also provide positive feedback resulting in a telephone conversation with Sabah when agreed to leave a deposit to secure the car . Whilst the car had been MOT I noted a number of advisories which she agreed would be dealt with prior to my collection of the car. Whilst these repairs etc took a little time to be completed Sabah kept me informed and 10 days later I concluded the purchase meeting also Waheed .Unfortunately after only a couple of weeks and less than 1000 miles the engine management light stayed on .As the car was going into a Range Rover dealer the following week I asked them to check why the light was on and the best they could say was the tyre pressures were wrong and even though they adjusted the pressure the light stayed on - having little faith in the main dealer I had the car checked by a long established and reputable independent garage that look after all our family cars and to my horror discovered the issue was intact with the catalytic converted which needed replacing . I then called Waheed and discussed if the warranty for engine and gearbox box covered this item which he advised it did not however instead of saying sorry nothing I can do he made an offer to make a financial contribution towards the repair. Having personally worked in an industry that demands a high level of customer service for 40 years R&W have an excellent approach to the same and I would have no hesitation in recommending then
The measure of service is what happens when things go wrong. I bought a beautiful six year old Range Rover from RW Motors at a very fair price having received an excellent trade in deal for my RRS. I have never seen a car offered for sale that had been prepared to that standard. It drove like a dream, but on getting it home it developed a slight leak from the rear differential. I informed Sabah and without a quibble my car was collected and fixed by an excellent Land Rover specialist, Ferraro diagnostics. My car was repaired and returned to me by the boss of Ferraro and the work explained fully to me. Together they handled the issue brilliantly and my car is now 100% serviceable. I thoroughly recommend them as a great pace to buy a car.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Waleed and Sabah for a truly memorable experience when collecting our Range Rover the car was immaculate and the customer service was beyond our expectations both of them were so friendly and professional it was a pleasure dealing with them. We would definitely recommend R and W (we already have) Keep up the great work guys
We bought our vehicle and from start to finish the customer service was exceptional. Always available on the phone, extremely helpful with any questions, took us through each stage step by step. The vehicle was exactly as described, fantastic condition. Delivery service was amazing, delivered at a time convenient to us with friendly polite service. The after sales service has been wonderful. We would definitely use again.
Purchased a Range Rover Sport. Car was prepared to a very high standard, as is all their stock, and the service both relaxed and efficient. They gave a good price on my trade in and an hour after arriving I left in the new car. The main dealers could learn a lot about real service here! Highly recommended!
Did a 4hour round trip to view a 991, only to find none of the issues flagged on the MOT failure were resolved, paint work poor despite being told it had been detailed 🙄, alloys needed full refurbishment, tyres replacing, discs replacing etc. Before I got to inspect the service history they got very defensive and was told they didn't want to sell me the car and that I should leave immediately. They also claimed my cars bumber had been resprayed which was not the case. Frustrating and disappointing that such service exists. Prior to even viewing the car there was alot of confusion, with warranty being included then it was not included, how they describe the condition of their cars is very different to the reality as there cars do not get properly prepared and none of the technical issues get resolved. R&W cannot be trusted, rather look to buy a Porsche from a specialist dealer or Porsche directly.

Hi Matt, this is Waleed Sabri R&W motor company (Director) You are not being totally honest with your review, I dealt with you and you had previously missed out on buying this very same car as you did not want to leave a £100 fully refundable holding deposit to reserve the vehicle to view it first, knowing that it was on sale and expected me to reserve the car for you for 7 days without a deposit (you made enquires on 05/10/2020 and wanted us to hold the car for you until 12/10/2020 without a returnable deposit so you wouldn’t have lost out in any way) until you decided that you could make time to view, In the time you did not want to commit, someone else did and (on 07/10/2020) placed a deposit online through the website and we informed you that the car would be reserved for someone else to view first (Saturday 10/10/2020) at which point you became angry and patronising with your text message replies as you expected me to take the car off sale and hold without a deposit as explained earlier. The vehicle came back on the market as the proposed buyer could not get the funds together, we informed you that the car was still for sale, you asked many questions and we answered each one carefully, We provided you with tyre depth readings and service history intervals so you knew what to expect when you arrived, there is 30+ photographs on the website and a video clearly showing the excellent condition the vehicle is in and furthermore Porsche also carried out a health check and the latest mot test which passed with no advisories, This can be verified as todays date is 13/10/2020 and the registration number of the vehicle in question is AJ61 CVU (check the mot history online today and you will see that there was no advisories outstanding on the last mot test so I really don’t know what you are not happy about with regards to the quality of the car) You arrived at the showroom showing signs or frustration, very negative and fishing for faults, trying to find stone chips and finding a reason to try to haggle me on the price, you were making remarks under your breath when I was talking about the car, making me and my staff very uncomfortable whom also found your approach very strange. I explained that the car was nearly 10 years old when you were rubbing your fingers through each wheel spoke looking for imperfections. When I pointed out that the rear bumper on your car (2018 bmw) was a different shade to the rest of the car and it had been resprayed you became defensive and rude in your response at which point I did tell you that I would not sell you a car and that we will not tolerate any abuse to our staff or team members. Waleed, you and I both know your comments are inaccurate! I only dealt with you and your colleague, you know the car is not in great shape and needs money spending on it, and you also know that my car has no issue. You were clearly being quite childish saying my car had issues as I had pointed out the perished tyres and badly worn alloys! I was going to let you redeem yourself giving you the chance to demonstrate the service history as I was genuinely interested in the car, and for you to say you had contacts to get things resolved was rather odd, especially since when we spoke on the phone last week you advised the car was pristine, and you even advised you could not let me view the car on the Wednesday when I wanted to see it as you said it was getting detailed! The car should not of been presented the way it was, especially for a cash buyer who wanted the car the next day. Telling me you dont want to sell me a car and asking me to leave was beyond unprofessional, and was petty and uncalled for especially when the car was not as you described. In hindsight the pre-sales encounter was bad enough and I should of just walked away from the car and not said anything as it is clear you become defensive and aggressive when customers confront you with the poor service you offer. Hopefully you can learn from this, and I hope you can prepare your cars to a better standard in the future. I learnt not to deal with non-specialists when buying a sports car. It is shame that businesses like yours still exist as it is quite an outdated style of working trying to sell cars at an inflated price in poor condition.
