My review of this garage and Steve is a little mixed. I purchased the car back in march and Steve was great in the buying process. He let us take the car same day and arranged to pick it up a few weeks later to give it a full service and MOT. A day after buying the car the engine management light came on and I had noticed a slight tapping/knocking noise from the front suspension area at low speeds. I reported this to Steve immediately and he agreed to resolve the issues when he fetched it for a service. He took the car a week or two later and even lent me a van for the day or so he had it. Anyway the car came back and Steve told me he couldn’t do anything about the engine management light as it wasn’t on at the time he’d had it (even though I told him what the problem was from the code reader) and failed to acknowledge the knocking. A day later the light was back on so I ring Steve and he tells me he’ll take the car to an auto electrician… well that was around 3-4 months ago and in between the ignored messages and phone calls we have spoke once or twice where he’s told me he’s been busy and been on holiday and had staff off. Last call was June 23rd and I’ve heard nothing since . Don’t get me wrong the car is lovely and drives great I just feel a little let down by the aftercare.
