AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT USE Mercedes-Benz Chelmsford - I took the vehicle in for three manufacturer recalls, it would appear they damaged my vehicle whilst in their care on their test drive, yet they still handed it back to me, now they have refused to repair it and tried to charge me for their wrong doing. The recall was meant to take one day, a week later the vehicle is still at their premises and no will call me back. It appears everyone I have dealt with so far at Mercedes-Benz Chelmsford does not have any decency, morals or reasonableness, the service team and service manager do not seem to know anything about cars or internal combustion engines (it is not clear why they have not had training when they deal with cars on a daily basis). They are only consistent in incompetence, avoiding and not answering or returning calls, horrific customer service and unreasonable behaviour. They have no care at all that I have been without my car for over a week due to their failure, delays and useless approach. Not at any stage have I been offered a courtesy vehicle and they have still not responded to me about my subsequent costs I have incurred due to their failings. By far the worse experience I've ever had with a main dealer and I've previously had: BMW/MINI/SAAB/NISSAN/SEAT/KAWASAKI/FIAT/FORD It has genuinely been such a bad experience, whilst it probably is not, it has felt like a scam. It has actually put me off buying another Mercedes and I certainly would not from Mercedes-Benz Chelmsford. Even if they repaired the vehicle tomorrow which they are refusing to do, I'm not sure it could now rectify the situation. Escalated to a higher level at Mercedes.
