Avoid like the plague

Terrible company, been awaiting a refund 2 weeks. I purchased an Audi a6 avant and within 2 miles a light came on the dash and car went in limp mode. Our mechanic advised us to return the car as this had clearly been an ongoing problem they had tried to rectify in the last few days (new parts). Immediately called Gateway cars and they said of course we could return car for a refund in line with our legal rights. They’ve now had the car back for nearly 2 weeks (even charged me £100 for collection) and are giving every excuse not to refund us- their bank accounts blocked, the car was fine when it left them etc. They immediately readvertised the car as having no faults, drives perfect. They are conmen & everything they state on their website about customer their after sales & the way they treat customers is bull. I’ve since found several other reviews of similar experiences. We will not go away without a refund & will pursue this all the way.
