Shambles of a branch
The one and only time buying a car from this shambles of a branch and the last!! Bought a kia picanto in Jan 21rst 25 was dealing sales guy Daniel. At the beginning to be fair he was professional answered a few questions etc. Took a test drive decided to go ahead with buying the car after testing out Hyundai Vauxhall. During that week test driving other cars, I was pestered and bombarded with txt and emails to sign order forms. During the test drive imperfections were pointed out to me on the body work which was repaired. Baring in mind the car was bought in January this year I noticed after buying the car it had a lot more marks on the body and chips on the windscreen front left main light. Lucky it passed its first MOT as it was a concern with the windscreen. Also concerned regarding the driver’s seat the wear and tear leather cracked. Was promised if this gets any worse he would arrange to have this seen too. Asked for written confirmation of this never received anything in writing now am aware why. Put my trust and faith into this garage as it was a cash payment took some time to save for this car. As time went on noticed in July the boot of the car was sinking i.e. boot liner was basically bent in the middle. It would appear there was no tyre repair block in the middle to hold this in place. Hence the reasons for the sinking no support to hold boot liner in place. This was confirmed by another kia dealer. Contacted this branch to let them know and show them the problem. This was eventually fixed by sending pictures and emails to Salina who apparently works in service. My emails were ignored by her had to chase this up for several weeks as she decided to ignore them. A guy called Robert assuming he works also in service had sorted out the boot problem. During this time the seat was mentioned I was told were here to help will refer you to the sales team???Its apparent now that they obviously have decisions and can dictate what's covered in warranty when service should have dealt with this instead of passing the buck!! Robert had seen the imperfection had agreed the crack of the leather worn could be fixed but came up with all the excuses blaming the previous owner on how they sat on the seat!! And irrelevant crap as to why the car was sold with no tyre repair boot block. Whilst up getting the boot block fixed the sales guy Daniel had said as agreed will arrange to fix this and would call me in the afternoon Monday 25th of August. Received no phone call emailed him after a week again had to send pictures when all he had to do was look at the seat whilst up in the branch on the 25th apparent now he had no intentions in dealing with this shame really as I had plans to trade the car in the near future. The email response was although it was agreed to fix the seat he can’t see any imperfections easy way out as he didn’t or can’t be bothered not too much to ask as the car was just over two yrs old. The car was only two and half yrs old at the time of purchase now three yrs July 21rst one owner just over 27,000 miles now. Got an email back the manger would be In Touch nothing as yet or from the general manager. All I can say will never use this branch again as they couldn't careless now they have my money hard lesson learned!! The main reasons of buying the car was the remaining 4 years warranty left joke also liked the particular modal GT line S 22 plate. Hope this helps others in the future who are considering in buying a car from this branch!!
