Avoid A1 Ortos at all costs. Me and my partner, bought a car here in August 2025 and it turned out to be a complete disaster. Within days, an independent garage confirmed multiple serious faults — heavy corrosion to the subframe and chassis, worn bushes on all arms, exhaust problems, and more. These are major safety concerns that should have been picked up at the most recent MOT, along with the A1 Ortos inspection. The dealership knew about some faults and failed to disclose them, then tried to fob us off with a token “goodwill” payment instead of taking responsibility. We’ve since obtained written evidence that these problems could not possibly have developed in just 30 days. The DVSA has been informed about the MOT, and we are now preparing legal action to get our money back. They sold us an unsafe car, ignored our rights under the Consumer Rights Act, and forced us to put our two young children in a vehicle that should not been on the road. The car is now sat on our drive, not roadworthy and we are now having to hire cars to get to A to B. They're are an absolute joke! Their behaviour has been disgraceful and we will be proceeding with legal action against them.
