Really gone down hill with service.
A few months ago, they had my car to replace the oil cooler pipes. After driving it back home, I noticed that they were leaking engine oil, where they were fitted to the front radiator. I called them up, and returned it several days later. They refused to allow me to show them the leak, saying leave it with them. It was also having the cam/ballance belts replaced too. They rang me back an hour or so later, and said the leak was from the power steering pump. I said, the oil that was leaking was engine oil, not red power steering fluid, (I was a motor engineer, and know the difference). They insisted it was PSP, fluid. I insisted it was not. They said come back up and see for myself. I said I'm on my way. They then immediately replied, they couldn't wait for me, as they needed the ramp for other jobs. Photo's were sent to me showing a massive pouring of oil from the pump. Which if this had been so bad, oil would have covered the whole of the inside of the engine compartment, which it hadn't. It was still spotlessly clean. Without any sign of disturbance. They said new pumps are no longer available from Porsche, it would have to be an after market supplier. I asked if it could be refurbished, the answer was no. But it can, as the old unit was given back to me, and I have sourced the new parts needed to refurbish it, and have done so. I collected it the next day, and settled my bill. As soon as I left the premises, there was a loud rattle coming from the rear of the vehicle. When at home, checked my invoice and noticed that the charge for the power steering fluid was £144. The total amount of oil in the system is only 0.7 lts. I called them and was told the amount should've been £12 + vat. A massive difference, and was credited with the excess. When I checked the brakes a few days later, when I removed the rear wheel, I found a large stone, in the bottom ledge of the rear arch. There hadn't been a noise from the vehicle when I drove it in, and there was no need to drive it by the staff while there.
