Do not buy a car from this dealer
If I could give this company a zero rating I would. We bought a car for our daughter's 17th birthday - an Audi A1, advertised on autotrader as having a 12 month MOT. We drove an hour to see the car, paid a deposit and asked for it to be delivered 10 days later in time for her birthday. We were promised the car would be in full working order (road worthy) and ready to drive with a 12 month MOT and full service (it had been over 20K miles since the last one). When the car was delivered, about 9 hours later than promised, we were told the MOT and service had been completed. We later checked online to see that the MOT had expired in November 2025 and there was no evidence that a service had been carried out. We have called the garage on a daily basis since the 20th January and they are refusing to help us. They are claiming that there is a problem at the garage which means the MOT hasn't updated online yet. I really feel like we are being lied to and we now have an unroadworthy car sitting on our drive. This really has spoilt what should have been a lovely birthday surprise. We still have no resolution to the problem, Carpoint happily took our money though.
