WARNING! - 6 MONTHS in for repair and th
I purchased my 2023 Audi SQ7 Vorsprung in June 2025. It was my dream car and the most expensive vehicle I’ve ever owned. For the first few weeks, I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, after around six weeks, the car developed a suspension fault. I wasn’t overly worried at first, assuming the warranty would resolve it — but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Firstly, I booked the car into Stratstone Audi Erdington on 23 July 2025. They attempted several repairs, none of which worked. They had the vehicle for around two weeks with no progress. I went on a two week holiday during this time and asked for updates while I was away, fully expecting to come home to a repaired car. Instead, communication stopped entirely. No calls, no returned calls — nothing. I also went for weeks with no car as I was told they had no vehicle for me. After 9 weeks without a car I was finally given an Audi A1 as a replacement for my 7 seater SQ7. Over the next 15 weeks, responses were rare, and when I did manage to speak to someone, I was told they still couldn’t fix the issue. I was informed that “factory” were now involved, sending instructions one step at a time, each taking 1–2 weeks before the next step could even begin. I had to push constantly just to get basic updates. I contacted Audi UK, who reached out to the branch. For a short time, I finally received occasional updates and they replaced the A1 curtesy car with a Q3. Then in mid-December 2025, the communications stopped again. No explanations, no progress, complete silence. Then, in the new year, I received a call from Stratstone Audi Tamworth, informing me that the Erdington branch had closed down. I had no idea this was happening, and my car had been moved without my knowledge. Even worse, the Tamworth service team had no information about the work previously done, no notes on factory instructions, and no idea when a technician would even look at my vehicle. My SQ7 has now been at Audi Tamworth for over a month, still untouched. On top of that, they requested the return of my Q3 courtesy car and replaced it with a filthy A3. I remain in contact with Audi UK, but even they are struggling to get updates from the branch. I have also submitted an official complaint to Stratstone months ago with no reply. Two weeks ago, I tried contacting them through the online chat and was told someone would be in touch — but again, no response. I feel completely ignored and abandoned by Stratstone throughout this entire process. As of 5 February 2026, my car has been with Stratstone Audi for 6 months and 13 days with zero progress. As far as I know, it’s just sitting somewhere gathering dust. I deeply regret ever buying the vehicle. I wasn’t planning to post a review until the ordeal was over, but I am now at my wits’ end. I’m leaving this to warn others about my experience with Stratstone Audi and in the hope that someone within the company finally steps in and helps resolve this situation. And please Audi Stratstone do not reply with your generic "I will see this is addressed" or "I will chase this up" reply as I have heard this time and time again with no results and I find it insulting!
