A waste of time

Saw a BMW m340i car available on autotrader at Bowker bmw Preston. So sorted out a price on my px,which wasn’t to bad, so I put a deposit down on the car agreed collection date. I’m from Somerset about 250 miles away. Bowker wanted the rest of the money up front, which I thought that’s not really how that’s done, because there might be something I’m not happy with on the car I’m going to buy. Now I really keep my cars up together . So I arrive to meet the sales man, he has my car keys to look at my car(BMW m340d) I have the keys to look at there’s. I didn’t like the leather in there car but i thought I can live with it. Any way two salesmen were looking at mine, they found some imperfections in the paint on mine. Which if I saw them I would have not gone up there to buy a car. Any way cut a long story short they wanted another £800 to do the deal. I said fair enough the deal is off and headed home. Two days to get my money back after 4 phone calls. Got home ,went to my body shop and gave me a price to repair the paint of £300. A bit of a difference than £800 I’d say. The impression the sale’s men gave me was that I new the paint was like that and I was trying in on, which is far from the truth. I can’t believe I didn’t see the paint on my car was like that. Never mind. There’s plenty other cars out there. I just wasn’t prepared to give BMW BOWKER PRESTON another £800.
