Don't trust what they say on phone

Very disappointing experience. I travelled 70 miles each way after calling twice to confirm the car would be ready to drive away if I decided to buy it. On arrival, I found all four tyres were incredibly cracked and nearing replacement. The salesman showed little interest in addressing the issue. I was also told they couldn't assess my part exchange on the day due to no mechanics being available, something that was never mentioned on the phone and would have saved me a wasted journey. Poor communication, unhelpful customer service and a car that was not in great condition. £40 in fuel, a £49 deposit, an afternoon wasted and possibly the worst vending machine coffee I've ever had. Would not recommend. Don't trust what they say on the phone.
