"One Big Let-down"

Purchased an Audi S1 Quattro Competition from Rev-it-up UK Cars. Agreed a trade-in price for my BMW & Renault with the sales Team via telephone & emails. Unfortunately over a ten week period dealing with the After Sales Manager covering vehicle service, MOT and delivery arrangements proved to be increasingly difficult to get the sales team to initiate and complete the tasks they had agreed to undertake as a condition of sale. The Audi failed an MOT test on 2/10/24 (nearside drive-shaft wheel bearing) Re-tested on 31/10/24. Finally delivered on 12/11/24. I was then able to inspect the vehicle only to discover various items had been changed or missing and being evident from photographs on their website. Despite the vendor's pre-sale agreement to service and replace the front tyres, (only changed engine oil, not oil filter) No invoices or printed evidence of any work undertaken prior to delivery. My worst fears of shortcomings were identified when the Audi was due an MOT test in November 2025. The test centre declined to test the vehicle due to no catalyst fitted. Sent evidence of an MOT emission test result prior to the existing exhaust being removed. Replacing the Scorpion de-cat downpipe with a new Scorpion high flow sports cat cost £1,152, plus four new tyres (existing tyres fitted were wrong size, different speed rating, dote codes out of date,) The Audi required an Inspection Service covering new Mann oil filter, four new spark plugs, brake fluid change, air-con re-gassed. Replace broken bonnet release lever & damaged aftermarket TRc front splitter. Total cost will exceed £2,500. The vendor has offered £300 as a goodwill settlement as they have incurred a cost of £1,000 to repair the Renault turbo oil seals and repairs to the driver's seat runners. Subsequently the vendor has declined to respond to my requests.
