After reading some of these reviews I was considering cancelling the trip from Rochdale to Durham to possibly PX my old Citroen C4 for an equally old Citroen C5, but the photos on the website looked too good to miss the chance due to a few poor reviews, and anyway the drive up is pretty decent. So glad i made the effort. The lads coudn't have been more sound, let me take as much time as I needed to have a really good look round, the service history was all on hand for me to check, took it for a drive around the estate. The C5 came with a new MOT and all the jobs the mechanic said they'd done actually had been done. I got what I consider to be a fair price for my trade in too. My C5 drove really well on the way home, I need to replace the cambelt and give it a service, but you can't expect to buy a 14 year old motor and have no jobs to do, there's plenty of main dealers and PCP if you want to pay a fortune, but that's still no garantee that you won't have mechanical problems. All in all a trouble free transaction. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Shotton Part Exchange Centre to friends and family and will check their stock when i'm next looking for a car. Thanks!
