Enquired about a car, bad idea

I recently enquired about a car by text which isn't such a new concept being the 21st century, after sending this I was faced with a reply of "I don't deal by text" which he then proceeded to tell me how easy it is to phone and ask over the phone, not the attitude of someone that is going to gain your trust to buy a car for 1.5k
