Good to start with

Ok so bought a car from Dan at GW Hall & Son, very helpful car was lovely never had a problem with it. Went back 3 years later to buy another. Found a lovely car again through Dan drove great. Went to collect the car had to wait an hour for them to collect it from the garage but no problem. Took the car home found a problem with the drivers window. Phoned Dan arranged to get it back to them and they supplied a courtesy car as you would expect. Both me and my wife asked Dan were we insured and were told yes. They had the car a few days told me they had fixed it so I went and picked it up. A few days later the window wasn't working again so on contact with Dan was told to take it down again. First time I tried after 30 mins in traffic only to be told part not arrived bring it back Sunday. A call would have been nice. Took it back Sunday and met Ged for the first rude and very unhelpful. I was then told I had to drive to charminster 20 mins away to collect the courtesy car (very helpful not). Ok getting to the point unfortunately I had a crash in the courtesy car. Totally my fault and I was very sorry it. Ged has told me that his garage does not provide insurance for his courtesy cars so if I was you I would check that your own will give cover as if you are in one of his cars you are driving around illegally. I won't be buying another car from there which is unfortunate as Dan is really nice and the cars I have had are really good but the customer service is woeful.
