I travelled from Eastbourne to Gillingham to test drive a vehicle, having phoned ahead to check that this would be ok. When I got there, I was told that they didn't have enough staff available to get it out of the showroom. Having been told by e-mail that they would offer me between £2500 and £3000 trade in on my car, they only offered £2000 when I got there. They even tried to persuade me that the parcel shelf on the car I was interested in buying wasn't missing - Ford don't fit them to Fiestas except as an extra. I'm not sure I would believe anything they say.
