Recently bought a Ford Galaxy from Alex. Car is 16 years old but has been very well looked after by the previous owner and is in great condition. It was very well presented for sale. Had a couple of minor faults discovered after the sale but Alex sorted these out without any hesitation and I am very happy with my purchase. Would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely terrible experience. Bought a family car in May 2017 after going there to check it out. It looked fine and we were reassured that the vehicle was in great condition and was going to undergo a final check with their workshop before we paid the full amount and picked it up. Didn't even last a day! The first trip to work the engine light went on and from then on it was a disaster. The vehicle was left on the doorway as we tried for weeks (in vain) to get our money back. Chester Road Motors claimed the vehicle was fine and even tried to imply we wanted to scam them. We had to pay for a full (proper) garage check that confirmed the car wasn't even fit for the road. Eventually we had to pay to get it delivered to the trader since it was impossible to drive it without the engine dying and even then we had to appeal to the bank to get our money back. If you buy from them make sure you pay with card because at least you'll get your money back once you present your proof to the bank. We wasted time, insurance money, road tax money, had to pay for a proper garage check and had to pay to get the vehicle delivered. It was a nightmare. We ended up with no car and had to deal with the worst customer service to date. Don't bother.
