Bought a car from A & R Automotive said was fantastic condition was 7 hours away so had it delivered to me. My fantastic and there fantastic were a mile apart. Car in poor condition and few things wrong with car. Called them and not interested at all.

Feel it’s right to feedback on a good experience. Would definitely go back to A and R Automotive. Both lovely people and happy to show me round the car, happy to take for a test drive. Car was well priced and when it developed a fault they were happy to help with the costs. Only downside was car was slightly dirty and mileage a bit higher than advertised.

I bought a BMW X1 back in August and I have had no major issues with it. The car wasn't very clean and the dealers were only relatively helpful but it was a good experience over all and I would recommend A & R Automotive.

I would just like to say how pleased we are with our recent Audi A6 Avant Le Mans purchase from A and R Automotive, very good service with no hassel or stress involved from viewing to pick up.The emission warning light appeared after 3 weeks , I called Andrew at 19:30 on the Sunday evening and he replied straight away, got it fixed Monday morning no questions .Superb .Happy motoring from a happy customer.Many thanks Andrew and Rebecca.
I was very impressed with both Andrew and Rebecca. Such a lovely relaxed couple made buying a car from them so easy with absolutely no pressure at all.. I bought an Audi over a month ago from them and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I found them to be very friendly and knowledgable. i would highly recommmend them to anyone looking for a good quality second hand German car. They made the whole experience completely problem and stress free. *I am unable to give an accurate grading for resolution of problems as I haven't had any problems to resolve.
Fantastic car (A6 3L quattro) superb customer service and was very honest about the car which has been superb and I have had no problems at all. I highly recommend this garage to anyone looking to buy a used German vehicle and will be using again in the future when I replace my wife's car. I purshed a bmw 4 12500 pounds the car was advertised with 70.000 miles when I went 2 pick it up it had 74.000 I noticed driver side back quarter wing had some rust dident think anything from it took it 2 bmw and they said it had been damage and the back quater had been replaced by independent garage not bmw work this was not mentioned in the advert otherwise I would not have purchased this car phoned Andrew and he dident want 2 know took my money and was not helpful dident want 2 pay 2 b repaird u do not expect this from a dealer beware a con a fraud should b reported very disappointed would not recommend any1 2 this dealer ovoid at all cost

This is a bit awkward really. We understand that Mr Briggs is dissappointed however to put things into perspective. Mr Briggs bough a lovely 8 year old BMW 335 D M Sport coupe with circa 45000 miles on and a full BMW service history. The vehicle had a rust spot on a rear panel that Mr briggs noticed before purchasing the car 6 months ago. Most 8 year old vehicles have had some cosmetic work done to them in there life but this does not mean they have sustained any heavy or serious damage. We did not have any paintwork done to this car prior to sale. We did make sure it was HPI and Experian clear !! We sell 200 cars a year and now have 2 bad reviews. I wish all the satisfied customers left review.
I purchased a VW Jetta from A&R Automotive in Yeovil and after 7 days and approximately 70 miles the front brake began to bind on. I phone Andrew at A&R to be asked "is it covered on the warranty?" to which he knew the answer was no. I asked if he would be willing to do the repair or offer something towards the cost of the repair (only £163 at a main VW dealer) and all I got was how aggressively the car had been priced. I tried to explain that there was such a thing as after sales service/ goodwill, anyway after wasting 15 minutes of my time it became clear that he was doing to do nothing. My experience is BEWARE of A&R Automotive because once your money has reach their bank account just forget about any after sales back up if it's not covered on the warranty.

We sell in excess of 200 vehicles a year for five years now and have many repeat customers. I am sorry that Mr Hassel feels this way, and this is certainly not the way 99% of our customers feel. All vehicles are sold with a new MOT (no advisories) from an independent testing station and service if required. All vehicles are also sold with a comprehensive warranty, unfortunately no warranty will cover consumable items such as brakes, tyres etc etc (not even manufacture warranties).
