I bought a little run about car as they had a really good selection of well priced cars, Alex looked after me and got everything sorted!

I went to look at cars here in April and after being taken to see a second yard run by Richard I ended up spending £9,500 on a 2016 Jaguar XF Portfolio. As I left I found myself enveloped in an exhaust cloud which concerned me but as the car was under guarantee I convinced myself it might just be a one off. However this shouldn't have happened based on my advice from Jaguar at Crewe, this modern Jag has a sophisticated exhaust system which would only discharge oil in the exhaust if there was a fault. I had little chance to use the vehicle because of serious health problems. However after around 3000 miles the Turbocharger blew firing shardes into the engine. The car is a mechanical write off. It's difficult to believe the garage wouldn't know the turbocharger was defective and know that the exhaust discharge was indicative of a serious defect? I managed to get some scrap value as the exterior was in good order but I lost £5,500.

Alex was upfront about a couple of dents sent me a video identity all problems. Didn't matter because the van drove like a dream was a pleasure to drive home in a van! The service was absolutely first-class class people!! I am so happy!!!!

As a UK Paramedic, I returned to the UK to assist with the Covid crisis and needed a reliable car urgently to get to work. I contacted Alan Davies Car Sales about a car. I asked extensive questions as I could not inspect the car myself due to lock down, I was assured it was immaculate, the best available. They had a 'local' Garage inspect the car (Prestige Motors). Alan Davies Car Sales also Prestige Motors so unsurprisingly the garage stated the car was in 'great' condition. On delivery it was full of dents and scratches, massive rust underneath, recently sprayed with underseal, strong smell of petrol around vehicle with likely porous fuel tank and lines. On poking rust to the front suspension turrets a large hole appeared instantly. This car is not safe, not roadworthy and would fail an MOT. They promised a full refund of deposit several times and then refused 9 days later. Legal action has begun. DVSA, Trading Standards and Police are involved. Press to run story.

Having visited major dealers left their feeling I was just a 'sale' . Found Alan Davies Cars small independent garage with professional ethics and fantastic customer care . Would recommend to family and friends thank you very much love my new wheels

Wouldn't recommend Alan Davies Car Sales. Rude and cocky salesman with no experience of customer service. Just harsh comments with no help or support in after sales. Don't waste your time or money with this place - he will feed you with lies, lies and more lies.
