I had my BMW X1 from Alan Storrar Cars just under a year and it has cost me just under 6k for major issues with transfer box and difs....Never again.

In over 25yrs of dealing with garages, this has to be the best. Geoff and the rest of the staff's customer service skills are excellent. The car i purchased was prepared to a very very high standard. And the car was ready for collection on the day i wanted to collect it. I would certainly buy another car from them and on seeing the car i got, my friends have said theywould have no hesitation in purchasing there next cars from them. So if your looking for a car i would buy from here if you want 5* service.

I checked all the usual stuff, and asked all the usual questions, but the one thing I forgot to ask about was that it had two keys. They never told me they only had one key - something it transpires they knew full well. Hence, upon having paid, and being given the key, I asked for the second key, and was told 'no there is only one key'. I did pursue this issue with them there and then, and also via e-mail and phone over the next few weeks, and they could not be less interested as they already had my money. Hence, just be very careful and double check everything, as if you do not find it or ask about they will not volunteer anything, even something obvious and important like two keys
