I was going to purchase a crew van over the phone as this was a remote sale (23 December) I am entitled to a full refund so to cut a long story short I put a deposit down they wanted £200 they then came back and said they wanted another £ 160 to swop seats from another van 10 min later I cancelled the purchase so at that pint no work had been done, as the collection was not till Jan 4th and they now refuse to refund the £360 stating they did a lot of won the van absolute total pack of lies they claimed it cost them £40 to take it to an mot station , the mot station is on site they failed it with loads of faults on the 29th December 5 days after I cancelled it there charging me for that , I have every bit of evidence in text messages, and will take them to court , these people are just greedy and lie in order to keep your deposit . The law clearly states there is a 14 day cooling off period so unless Santa did all that work in 10 min it’s a pack of lies

would like to share my experience with prospectus customers. I really did not have the time to spend looking for the vehicle to match my requirements after being so disappointed with numerous attempts to purchase from other garages Bartley Green Commercials did not fail my expectations! The vehicle was described by telephone exactly as it was. Thank you I will Highly Recommend to all my friends and colleagues
Avoid Avoid PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING A VAN HERE!!!!!! Bartley Green Commercials firstly i got ripped off with the deposit I had to put down on a van which cost me almost £4000. Debbie also said i will have to get a new cam belt which her mechanic would do for free but was on holiday so wont be able to do it. Next within the first week an engine Maintenace light came on which Debbie and her mechanics stated it just needed a regen, but the light came back on which Debbie and her mechanics said it was the DPF pump which they changed but the light still stayed on. We went back many times but they kept clearing the computer system and stating it must be there machine that they use so she went to get her sons snap on machine which cleared it for about three weeks. During this time the vans alternator went plus battery which I had to pay for out of my own pocket but the truth was due to the problem with the DPF the van was in limp mode meaning the cooling fan was kept on for a longer period of time draining the battery. After the three weeks we called Debbie explaining the Vans DPF engine lights still coming on this was when Debbie switched shouting "it cant be this it has to be something else you have had the van for how long now" we went to the garage and yes the DPF was still blocked but Debbie blamed us stating it was our fault for leaving the fuel low. I think this was a poor excuse Debbie knows deep down it was her fault as we have gone to a mechanic that we trust he clearly stated the Particular filter is pass regeneration and will need to be cleaned which he is honest and stated he doesn't do this but specialist places that do he did the diagnosis plus regen for free as well which Debbie wanted to charge £70. Debbie knew this but allowed us to drive the van in limp mode which could have caused a lot more problems but is too tight to deal with the problem from the start. I don't usually write reviews but please avoid this sales garage as once you give your money to this lady any problems, she will drag out time so that you warranty doesn't cover repairs. Its a real shame how evil money can make someone I am lucky that my partner was able to pay off the finance on the van pretty much straight away but I wouldn't like this to happen to someone else as this could cause a lot of financial difficulties.

The customer has failed to state the true facts. They had driven in excess of 3500 Miles to which openly admitted that they ran the vehicle with minimal fuel in the tank!! The vehicle was fitted with a replacement DPF tank. The vehicle was then driven for a further 1250 Miles with no issues. Due to the customer’s negligence not adhering to the handbook the vehicle was unable to regenerate to which vehicle requiring a force regeneration to which we were not responsible for. When purchasing the vehicle they were informed that by travelling short journeys they would experience these issues by not adhering to the manufactures guidance.

Sadly the customer has not stated all the truth. The customer did not pay a £4000 deposit so certainly was not ripped off in any way or form. The finance was taken out with a reputable FCA appointed company. The deposit in fact was £700. The real issue as to why the customer is disgruntled is due to their negligence and miss use of the vehicle thus creating the issues that currently stand. It is evident that the issue has been created by their own negligence not retaining adequate fuel within the tank thus not allowing the vehicle to self regenerate the DPF. This then has to be forced regenerated to which were happy to carry out at a reduced cost. However the customer did not show to their appointment and did not have the decency to notify us of the cancellation. The customer also admitted that they have ran the vehicle with little fuel and that they have driven in total in excess of 3500 miles and 1250 since the part was fitted. The customer has also not revealed that we would have been delighted to refund them due to their being a lack of commercials on the market.
Realy bad company to deal with - minibus was not as described -full of scratches dents and chips - rear panels filled and botched up with overspray to rear panels - asked for refund and theyve refused as van was ok when it left there premises - its been checked by mechanic and bodyshop techician and theyve said return - trading standards and the lawyer working on it now - been offered £250 of Bartley Green Motors - i just want a refund -court action it is - if you buy a vehicle from this lot i pray its ok for you as dont try and get a refund people

Mr Roger Gillespie Has failed to stare that due to him loosing a contract he no longer required the vehicle being the beginning of lockdown! He also failed to state that we refunded him with pleasure. The photographs he produced were from another vehicle he had rejected from another dealership! The vehicle sold to a Very Happy Customer at a higher cost due to the commercial vehicles increasing in value. Being established for 37. Years a d selling in the region of x 500 per annum. We can’t please all!!
Extremely Happy with my purchase from start to finish. Old School company good morals and Very Genuine people. Very patience I really didn’t know what vehicle would be fitting for my requirements Debbie was very knowledgeable and very helpful! I had a little issue with the vehicle a couple of weeks later nothing was too much trouble arranged fir the vehicle to be attended to with immediate effect where as from past experience with other companies been fobbed off or had to wait a couple of weeks to Sort an issue out!!! Thank you Very Much for making the whole experience a pleasure ! I will certainly recommend you to fellow colleagues
