Having recently retired decided to down size after buying my company car and selling it for a nice profit. Purchased a Hyundai i20 from Beechdale 6,900 miles on the clock and 31 months warranty left. Having previously brought two i10s for my sons and been good, thought OK. When I picked the car up end of February informed me the blower was faulty and only worked on full, OK, they ordered the part, me expected couple of days MAX! no problem!!! Having left a message with them after a week, got a call back, part will not be in until middle of May!!! JOKE should have stuck with Toyota. Last car I will buy from them, hope nothing main goes wrong otherwise car will be off the road. Hyundai be carefull 😡😡😡
A wonderful experience from start to finish. The deal started on carwow with an outstanding offer and prompt communication. Finished with a friendly and safe handover. Cracking Alfa dealership and you can see why they are so highly rated by Alfa owners.
i ordered a new tucson on line and over the phone from beechdale derby. i then received a phone call from them saying that they had a demo car delivered with no plates brand new and i could have it for £1000 less . so i agreed ,why not. when i went to pick the car up it was a whole different story . it had already been registered to them and i was then told i could not have the car registered to me for a month or so and they would let me know when this had happened i reluctantly took the car but when i got home i was not happy and after talking to my insurance company decided to contact them to say i wanted to have the car put in my name instantly. this got pushed all the way up to the general manager before they agreed. these people knew exactly what they were doing when they set this scam up and just hoped i would stand for it. i am now in the process of reporting them to the trading standards as i am not happy with the extra owner on the log book. not honest people . i spent 27k at this place and feel gutted. the totally ruined the new car buying experience.

From the start I must point out that myself and the sales manager both overheard the sales exec discussing the demo model with you. To summarise the following was clearly stated- It was a delivery mileage demonstrator. It had not been through the workshop hence had no plates on. You saved £1000. You did not have to take the finance out to make the full saving unlike the new car offer. My only concern from the conversation is do you understand what a demonstrator is. The motor trade is guilty of speaking in lingo at times, demo here, pre reg there but with you acknowledging it above as a demo and your history of reviewing car dealers I cannot see how this would be the case. Furthermore, on the order form emailed to yourself the sales executive clearly highlighted in bright pink the registration number and the registration date. You signed and returned this document. I will apologise for the miscommunication on the transfer of the car/V5 into your name, this is done to enable us to quickly pass on the saving, but it should have been communicated in the original conversation. Your defamation of our character is noted but I am happy we did little to nothing wrong and in reality, are guilty of only trying to save you some money. Russell Boot General Manager
Tbh one the most shocking experiences I’ve ever encountered with any company I experienced yesterday 20/2/21. I Inquired about a brand new Alfa Romeo gv & was dealt with a “salesman” called Oliver Lloyd who basically wanted full asking price for a car that had zero pictures plus gave me misinformation about other companies stating only reason there dealer contributions are good because it’s a old model yet infact it was the latest 21 model . It’s when I asked about getting service plan into the deal is when I was shocked as he refused up front Even thro I never asked a penny off the car ( full asking price) which I thought sorry your looking nearly 65k for a car that I haven’t seen one single picture off.How is bmw & Merc owners going trust your brand with mediocre service that I encountered. His attitude was stinking & I can rest assured after yesterday’s encounter & experience I will be taking my money & business elsewhere & won’t be back

As per my email to you directly I have looked through the entirety of your email correspondence with Beechdale and can see nothing that makes me think we are deserving of your review. The only issue I will apologise for and raise with the sales manager Oliver is the incorrect information he provided on another marque; however, I can clearly see in a further email he acknowledged this as a mistake. With regards to your many comments about price I note you have conveniently neglected to mention the £12,500 discount in place on this car. Quite simply Alfa Romeo cannot compete financially with the mass-producing German brands and further research done by yourself would have highlighted just how good our offer is. Regarding the pictures Oliver clearly told you these vehicles had only just landed in the UK so it is impossible to provide a photo, in fact no dealer in the UK has even seen a model year 21 car on site yet nor will they be live on the Alfa UK website until March. I take customer care very seriously and we hold the distinctions of being Alfa dealer of the year and most importantly of having the highest customer sales satisfaction rating of any standalone Alfa/Jeep franchise. That aside I know it is impossible to please everyone and as much it pains me to see such an unfair and vitriolic review in the public domain, I am happy that we did nothing or little to deserve it. Thank you so much to Stuart and all the guys at Beechdale Alfa dealership and Alfa Romeo for my beautiful Guilietta. I have not one negative thing to say about the customer service it was pure class just like my new car! Even the coffee was awesome! Thank you loads it has been an absolute pleasure.
I am over the moon with my Jeep from Beechdale motor Group. It's running like a dream. When I received it, it was lovely and clean and in great condition and up to now I have had no issues with it at all that haven't been resolved quickly and easily by the dealership. I would happily recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a top car and service to match.
My Dodge has developed a misfire on warming - up. They are a Dodge main dealer went in today (6th April) to book a slot for them to have look at the problem. Answer received - sorry we have no one available to look at your vehicle until the 24th April. Question - what if I break down ? - sorry sir then you will be without a car for 3 weeks. Summary - sorry Beechdale Motor Group but as a MAIN dealer you are not fit for purpose!
I bought a beautiful ix35 from the dealership in 2015. The salesman was full of promises to get my signature and deposit, took £200 off me as a bond and promised to give it me back when i produced my service booklet. I promptly posted this to them for the attention of the salesman, guess what i never saw my £200 and they sold the car on (probably with my service booklet ). Im a businessman myself and pay my bills on a daily basis but to be lied to and to be robbed of my money i felt was absolutely disgusting from a so called main dealer, how many times does this happen ?? The car itself was superb until the fuel filter went, this was supposed to have been changed. i had to call hyundai assistance to tow me in and swap the filter. Beech dale agreed to pay the cost of the filter and labour, but once the work had been completed they didn't want to know and i was £70 worse off. Numerous phone calls and e mails to the salesman and other staff when i was being ignored was to no avail. So at this point I'm at least £270 worse off. Not even a courtesy phone call to try and resolve my problems. Once again the car is wonderfull and i would recommend hyundai but would never go back to beech dale and urge no one else to unless you enjoy giving large amounts of cash away with no chance of it being returned.
I will start this review for Beechdale Motor Group by saying that they provided very good customer service, always quick to get back to you when you had any issues, not the kind of dealer who tends to go missing. This really made me trust them. An extremely personable service, as for the my Hyundai I30 i am very pleased with this
