I bought a Citroen C6 in March 2015. A bad knock appeared within the first week. I contacted Andy at Bridge Street Prestige by letter, phone and E-Mail and as yet I have had no reply. My finance company Startpoint have taken this up for me with the same lack of response. As part of the deal Andy of Bridge Street Prestige gave me a 12 month warranty by A1 Warranties of Leeds. I contacted a Stuart at A1 warranties to be told that it was never paid for and they have tried contacting Bridge with the same lack of response. I note that they are still trading on Auto Trader & E-bay. Now the alternator also needs replacing in total I face a bill of over £2,500. I live on the south coast some 340 miles from Sunderland.
The garage took a long time to respond to issues with the car which took almost 6 month of nattering from delivery until this week to get it's V5. The car was apparently serviced but an independent garage verified it wasn't and it took a lot of chasing to get a full service done. ( though they did do a very thorough job in the end) and it was noted at the time of purchase that it's tyres were very worn. It was delivered with 2/3mm borderline part worn tyres as a replacement, Again I had to pay for this and be refunded. I am by no means awkward but expect to get what I pay for. All I would say is they will sort your problems eventually but if my experience is anything to go by it will take a lot of your time and effort chasing them. I will not be buying from them again.
