Bought my new vw here today. Sadji has really helped me and has been very honest about what to expect both fianacially and the history etc of the car. The car itself is yet to go in for its mot and service in the morning where I'm assured faults will be addressed. So will post an update over the weekend with the results. Overall after much scouring for a car that I'd enjoy and last here was generally the most competitively priced online on all models. If I had enough money I could of took 4 off the forecourt lol. Look forward to posting a further update, but looking forward to going back
When arriving to pick my vehicle up, the office was full of cigerette smoke which was annoying! He said the car had just been through its MOT a few days before I picked it up and passed everything.. I drove the car home and it was fine until a few weeks when the engine management and engine malfunction light came on the dashboard, black smoke was coming from the exhaust (fair enough it's a diesel before a lot of black smoke everytime I set shouldn't be coming from the exhaust) And the engine didn't sound to healthy! It was a bit weird knowing the car passed its MOT a few weeks ago.. I messaged the dealer and he took quite a while to reply, when he eventually did I took the car back and I went in his office, I explained he situation and he didn't seem interest at all, he was doing his paper work whilst I was stood there for at least 15 minutes.. He came out with an engine code reader and I read it was an Air Sensor and Turbo Underboost but he insisted it was because the car was a diesel and it had some crap diesel in it, he questioned me where I buy my diesel which was relevant at all! He wasn't interested what so ever so I just left and drove home, bad garage to get a car from! Never again!! Be careful before you buy!

we are aware do not let anyone spoke on site. having checked the customer arrived and the staff were in the middle of dealing with other matters and the customer was asked to wait a few mintues before someone would see him. yes if the car is run on low fuel it can cause problems . the workshops were closed when the customer arrived and we did say that if the problem re occurs let us know but have heard nothing from the customer
Exactly what you expect from a used car garage. I found the car I wanted, the staff explained everything and were very helpful. Would recommend to anyone. The car had some small issues but were solved straight away, great customer service from Castlebridge Motor Company.
Castlebridge Motor Company were not good at all. An exhaust that was supposedly replaced when car was bought, the brackets were totally rusted and snapped 10 weeks later which left the exhaust hanging. However were told this wasn't covered under 3 month warranty when they eventually replied to six or seven messages, which it takes between each reply you do get. Now I'm no expert, but expect a replaced exhaust to last longer than 3 months, wouldn't anyone? Either a poor job putting it on or lied to and it wasn't replaced at all. Definitely wouldn't use Castlebridge Motor Company again at all and would advise others against it too. Not unless you want to fork out for repairs that should be put right anyway. Bit of advice if you do use them make sure you at least pay £1 on a credit card. If you pay on a credit card you're covered if anything goes wrong that they refuse to rectify, which they have an obligation under the sale of goods act 1979 to do. Just ring the credit card company and make a charge back claim under section 75 of the consumer credit act, they will then fight the case on your behalf which is what we've had to do.
