Brought a landrover disco, 08 plate from them around 3 years back. Within months total engine failure. Had a warranty with them not worth paper its written on. Took 9 months to get it sorted. Its now a total write off with catastrophic failures throughout the car, in part due to the engine replacement which is out of guarantee. Avoid this firm at all costs.

Do not trust Country Car,and be careful when signing the paper work with them, read very carfully,otherwise you will be charged for petrol and with their smills they will tell ( we put petrol in your car this morning,so you will be charged for it) If you find any problem in your car just bear in mind that will be from your pocket. Thomas can say and do anythings to sell his cars,so just be careful do not trust or by from him

Obviously a fake review. Have people got nothing better to do.
I went to buy a car from this outfit. When collecting the car, the car had numerous faults so I refused to take away. When asking for my £1000 deposit back, they refused and got nasty. Avoid Country Car at all costs.

Worrying that all the reviews on the Country Cars website are wonderful!! I bought a car back in April 2018, I took it to my garage for a service, and mechanic stated that the brake discs were warped, and had to be replaced. I phoned CC to ask for a contribution, they refused on more than one occasion, stating it was out of warranty. I was only asking for a contribution! I was dealing with the MD too, who couldn`t care less. AVOID AVOID AVOID! As a footnote, we had travelled from N Wales, and were not offered a drink on our arrival, or indeed, at all! That`s just rude in my eyes, must try harder!

Dear Glenda Having read your review i will respond as follows, as stated by yourself you took your can in for a routine service some 40000 miles after you purchased it from us, we asked you if you had noticed any brake judder or wheel wobble under braking you replied that you had not. Brake Disc Warping causes brake judder that you would feel under the foot pedal the fact that you STATED that you had not expereinced this tell us that no such warping had occured, we also asked you to evidence this by sending us the brake discs which we could of checked you choose not to. Country Car take aftercare very seriously we have been trading for 35 years selling over 700 cars per year proof enough that we look after our returning customers. Glenda without notification to Country Car you went ahead spent money on your car and then expect us to contribute towards it without giving us proof that the components you have replaced even needed replacing. We would be happy to discuss this situation in more detail if you wish Country Car
