Ok whilst selling you a car, but God help you if you have any issues. 2 weeks in serious problems, independent diagnosis, but still not prepared to deal with issues. Rude, hung up deliberately and told me he did. AVOID EMERALD MOTORS Wouldn't give any stars if I had a choice

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALER!! I wish I read the reviews online prior to buying my car from here. I have had numerous issues with my car and was continuously fobbed off by the staff (not the only one by the look of the reviews)! The car went back 3 times within the warranty period and was told nothing was wrong with it when in fact other garages spotted the issues within 5 minutes! They no longer trade on Burgess Road and I was even told by a member of staff how terrible the company was and they would never purchase a vehicle from the dealer!! STAY CLEAR.

Purchased a car from Emerald Motor Company, issues with vehicle within hours, returned to them twice for them is sort. But still faulty. Engine Coolant and oil leaking everywhere. Warning lights flashed up on dash, wife was told it’s because you over put to much fuel in the petrol tank.
Happy with service from staff and over the moon with my car. thanks to everyone at emerald motor company.

Bought a Vauxhall vectra from this dealer. Chris was excellent throughout the whole process and it was a pleasure doing business with a local knowledgable dealer. I would not hesitate returning here in the future

If I could leave this place with a 0 star review, I would. Absolutely appalling to deal with. Purchased a 5 year old Citroen DS3, within 2 hours of having it there were issues, warning messages on the dash, performance issues. We returned the car to the dealer for inspection, where Chris confirmed there were issues with the turbo. I did not want to accept the repair offered (as per my rights), but the dealer would not accept this and demanded I come collect the vehicle. The Emerald Motor Company ended up getting a solicitor involved, who continually denied that the car was not fit for purpose (even though EMC had earlier confirmed a fault with the turbo), I even paid the RAC to go out to inspect and generate a report on the state of the car. RAC confirmed the fault, and actually also advised there were more issues with the vehicle. Still Chris would not issue a refund. Thankfully I paid for the car on a card, so after 3 months being £6k out of pocket the bank issued a charge back. I trusted the reviews on Autotrader which are all good, but honestly this is the worst car dealer I have ever dealt with.

Bought a car from them which was advertised as being perfect. My gut instincts were telling me otherwise. Nevertheless, i bought the car and set off on my 100 mile trip back home. From there it all fell apart. Things started going wrong on the journey. Many things. the car was fine until you got some distance away from them. I’d rather pay a lot more than get a car which has been meddled with by their mechanics in their garages behind their setup. AVOID at all costs.
