Bought the car in june23, for £9k, over priced by £2-3k, but as it was a nice low mileage example I bought it. I had to take it back next day for completely split wipers (how did it pass MOT?) front brakes horrific squeak, then all the electrics started to fail, 1st was the climate control intermittently stopped working, then the overheating light, then climate control again, then drivers window intermittently stopped, now I have an engine fault light on. Not once have they returned my email or phone calls. The after sales is non existent. They have agreed to pay some of the repairs but this does not cover the inconvenience, stress and cost of having these issues. It was also known as a recall vehicle that was not repaired but sold to me. This is a £9k car not £3k which you would expect. I would not recommend lamwell motor's at all. Rude and they don't want to know. But they did also make £2.5k on my perfectly good trade in!! Angry

An urgent need to replace our aging car led us to our first experience with Lamwell. Throughout the entire process of purchasing our new Focus we were treated with friendly courtesy and impressed by the high standard of presentation of the showroom and of the cars on sale. It is very clear that great pride is taken in the external and internal appearance of the cars which are prepared to showroom standard. We would have no hesitation in using Lamwell again and recommending them to friends.

Being a more mature single lady, this is the first time I have personally purchased a car with my finances! Lamwell are brilliant, they are not pushy and give you their time, listen to your concerns, no matter how long it takes! Being a woman, this can take time!!! I love my car, I feel confidence in Wayne and Lamwell that if I did experience any issues, I would have no hesitation in contacting them. Having just bought our 2nd car from lamwell, still got the same first class professional service, we will definitely buy from them again.
Couldn’t be more pleased with Malcolm and the team. Malcolm was professional, polite and always happy to answer any questions I had. I walked away with my first Mercedes at a great price in spotless condition. I will definitely be back for my next car in the future.

A beautiful business with clearly good quality cars. Beware though, they will keep your deposit without telling you so if you have to change your mind about a purchase for any reason. My husband lost his job just before Christmas which meant I couldn’t purchase the car I had wanted. They kept the £1000 deposit anyway. Harsh I felt given the circumstances but had to chalk it up to experience.

I have received outstanding service from day one even though my vehicle is not ‘top end’ Nothing has been too much trouble. I will certainly be going back to Lamwell Motor Company when the time comes to buy my next car.

Don't know if the guy that put a review about lamwell motor company giving rock bottom prices for his vehicle ect he must have been buying from some were else. I have just bought a car a hyundai ix35 Wayne gave me a fair price for my part exchange car sorted out 2 new tyres a real nice guy as for the price if i did not like the price i did not have to buy it or sell my car to him they make a bit on my old car and a bit on the one that i am buying they call it making a living will be going back to buy my next car

Watch out for Lamwell Motor Company they offer rock bottom prices for your vehicle and charge top notch for theirs. I was offered £400 lower by this company got more from other dealers. Some might say that this is business I call it day light robbery.
