Purchased a Landrover Discovery 3 from Meadens of Hythe, which suffered fault after fault. Found to have a very poor repair (rubber & tape) to the cooling system. After just 16 months the engine has seized. Contacted Meadens but not even had the courtesy of a reply. Terrible car, terrible after sales service.

Aggressive and rude . We rented a van and told them we only now need for one day, said that’s okay cancel and rebook the one day, I informed him we required to rent again in a few weeks, he said ‘that’s no problem, I will discount your next rental accordingly’ when we returned the van early I asked for a note of confirmation for the day we were owed. He aggressively replied, ‘NO WAY, YOU SHOULD OF CANCELLED AND REBOOKED WHEN I GAVE YOU THE CHANCE. I work in retail and can assure that anyone who purchased a car from this company will be sadly disappointed with the aftercare and expect corners to be cut. You have been warned !

I purchased a Lexus from this dealership in July. I am super happy with it! It was really nice and clean and just as described and I have had no issues with it. Its very good value for money! The dealers were very helpful and know what they were talking about. I wold definitely recommend Meadens Of Hythe to friends and family, they were really good.
