I recently bought my car from Ron skinner & sons firstly I dealt with the finance company which I believe to be smile finance. After being told what I would be accepted for I finally found a car that would suite my finances and budget. I continued to correspond with a member of staff from the Neyland branch as this is where the vehicle was being held. After having multiple phone calls regarding the finance of the vehicle I was told my original deposit to be £750 after agreeing to this I put a £100 deposit to reserve the vehicle making the owed amount £650 when going to collect the car. This staff member also informed me that they would take of £50 for the inconvenience of the changes in finance agreements. When collecting the car from the Tredegar branch (who were very helpful and understanding and managed to get these issues ironed out). I was then told I owed a balance of £700. I was then handed an office phone to talk to the member of staff in Neyland who I was originally dealing with, as she was claiming she told me the correct information and was very rude, impolite and unprofessional over the phone. At this point I was prepared to walk away from the vehicle. After this issue was resolved, I then ran into another issue regarding the keys provided for the vehicle. As I wasn't told about the car only having one key when applying and going through the process to buy the vehicle. I was accompanied by my father in law during this very stressful and frankly unnecessary inconvenience and was informed that he had bought a vehicle from this company previously and had received the same problems. Unfortunately due to this experience I won't be a returning customer. However, the staff at the Tredegar branch who I dealt with where very helpful, polite and professional and did everything they could to make sure I was happy driving away with my vehicle.

This is my 3rd car that I have bought from Ron Skinner.and it has always been a very easy process. I have never ever been pressured into buying something I don’t want or need ,and all the staff are very courteous and knowledgable. All the cars look in Pristine condition and if you do have a problem it’s sorted out very quickly and efficiently. I had an issue with one car and would like to thank Chris and Dan For their patience and help in resolving the issue .

My dad and mam always buy their cars from Ron Skinners, because they allow you time to look, the sakes people don’t bother you until you ask them to, the after sales service is second to none and very pleasant and accommodating staff I love my new car, and if I were to renew I would 100% visit Ron Skinners again Bethan

I went to ron skinner Cardiff and what a totally different experience I didn't feel pressurised at all I had a week to fully decide if it was what I wanted to do the sales person Regan was very understanding and helped us throughout im so happy with the car . The whole team worked to get me the payments and best deal possible. From a terrible experience previous form a different car shop ronskinner experience was 100% I will definitely return to ronskinner Cardiff in the future.

Recently bought a car in Ron Skinner,The sales man Chris Baker was so helpful ,it was great to have someone who took time to look for a car that we wanted and he found one for us nothing was to much trouble .Customer service was excellent the girls in the office who completed our transactions where so customer friendly and very professional.Well done everyone 10/10.
