Having seen the car I wanted online I travelled some 500 miles to view car and purchase after speaking with deen about the car before travelling. I was so impressed with how welcoming polite all the staff were upon arrival. Quick and easy experience felt like being amongst old friends other than a car sale. I love my new dream car. Where to start with Affordable Cars York........... Me and my partner had purposely visited this dealership to look at two specific cars we found on their website. With absolutely every intention of buying a car we therefore unfortunately received not so great customer service, wether the sales person was having a bad or whatever we were left bemused by his lack of enthusiasm, he was rude, arrogant and quite frankly didn’t seem all that bothered about selling us a car (even though we mentioned “if the figures are right we want this car subject to finance acceptance etc etc”). We then decided to leave and take our custom elsewhere after voicing our unsatisfying experience, at this point the owner/dealer principle then approached us in a very hostile manor. He squared upto me infront of customers in the showroom and asked me to leave, which I did. He then followed me to my car and threatened me in front of my partner, we then left. An hour later we received a very disappointing phone call, this phone call was filled with threats of violence towards me and my partner. He then continued with his threats saying he would “find me” and so on. This incident has been reported to the North Yorkshire Police and have been provided with the recorded threatening telephone conversation from said individual. We want to make people aware that this company should you visit them and give them any sort of criticism, they WILL threaten you, they will harass you and the WILL try and scare you. Do not let him intimidate you and please read other reviews as it is obvious this isnt he first time he has done this. Kindest regards, Fat Slug.

Joel in sales was lovely and friendly. When we arrived to view the car. It was ready for us to test drive. Joel gave us time to look around the car. We where given a part ex price for our car. Before we had a test drive. Which was good. As many car dealerships don't. We had a good 10 minute drive. The car was perfect. It came with a 128 aa Inspection certificate. 2 days later we had a phone call to say we could collect. Joel had all the relevant paper work ready. It took around 10 minutes. The car came with a 6 month warranty. And Joel taxed the car at the showroom. So we where good to go. Even put some fuel in the car to get us to a garage.I would highly recommend affordable cars. And would definitely use them again. We have had the car 5 days now with no problems . 5 star service. Thankyou Joel and all at affordable cars york.

Good Experience at Affordable Cars York. From the initial phone call to completing the deal the process was so easy. I brought the car blind so was obviously a worry before i actually see the car . When i picked the car up i was not dissapointed, 2 small points i travelled up fron South on the train had to get a Taxi from the station would have been nice to have been offered a pick up. Secondly when i picked the car up the fuel light was on , could have stuck £40 of fuel in the vehicle as these are all high end vehicles. Would i buy another car from them yes 100 o/o reliable .

I bought a used Audi A1 at the weekend the staff were friendly and helpful I was in and out of the showroom within 45 mins and everything was explained in simple terms for me to understand there was no pushy salesmen trying to sell me anything I didn’t want probs the easiest car purchase I’ve had thanks so much for a simple stress free purchase oh and the car is amazing !!!!! Would recommend as thousands less than rrp :)

Very happy with Affordable Cars on the A19, I have been considering changing my car for a while and was impressed with the selection of cars on their website. When I visited them I received a warm welcome from Patrick who left me to look around the cars in my own time - no pressure or pushy sales. Once I had selected the car I was interested in I was given the keys to have a look at in my own time - again no pushy sales techniques. Patrick then took me out in the car for test drive, he was very knowledgable about the car (BMW 5 Series). Bought the car and would definitely recommend anyone to use Affordable Cars York.

Very happy with Affordable Cars York. We read some reviews on here and was put of visiting however we decided to make our own mind up and we are very glad we did. Gavin the sales rep was polite, friendly and not pushy at all. we got close to the deal we wanted and on collecting the car it was obvious we had made the correct choice. It was nice to see a car presented clean, ready to go and well presented rather than some of the rubbish we were shown by bigger car sales. We would buy from again. Thanks.
