(Coming from a mot tester and mechanic)I bought a car from these guys and was happy with it for the first few days..however i then went to change the cambelt and after removing the undertray on the vehicle realised the DPF had been cut open and gutted and re welded...they claimed they had no idea about this when i confronted them..however they gave me paperwork saying a service was carried out on the vehicle before collection so the undertrays would have been off for the service..this modifcaton is highly illigal and carries a fine of up to 2500 if caught without a dpf and also a major MOT fail..id think twice before buying a car from this garage

The team very friendly, very helpful and profesionist.Approach was absolutly amaizing and kind.Everynody will do everthing to help.Thank you very much for your support.
Told the dealer there was an issue with my injectors on several occasions was told I’m not a mechanic so they will not listen to me, discriminated against me due to being a woman, now rejecting my car as confirmed injector and alternator fault with it. Avoid

I bought an Audi s1 from the dealership. Absolutely bag of nails. All there cars are un categorised cars that are fixed up at there body shop. My car wasn’t even cleaned when picking the car up. And no one informed me it was stage 1 with both res taken out ! The car cuts out at speeds of 50/60 and even 70mph! When taking the car back as I have rejected it they then turned violent. Not letting us leave and calling us any name you can think of! I have all of this on video evidence ! STAY CLEAR UNPROFESSIONAL CAR “ sales”
Bought my daughter a vehicle have to say couldn’t fault the service. Would recommend to anyone to try out.👍👍
£100K vehicle clearly available online , paid the deposit as requested to reserve, 2 days later I was informed that they had taken a deposit from another customer on the same vehicle, but they would try to find me another one, a week later the original vehicle is still listed for sale, to be fair they sent me data on an alternative but the spec was totally different and not acceptable. Sorry to say a bad experience from start to finish.

I was mis-sold a dangerous CAR from Saf and the team at CITY MOTORS CAMB LTD. that placed ME, my wife and my children in direct danger. It was a BMW. The steering being one of the massive issues when driving moves by itself. They're thieves and you need to be VERY CAREFUL for your families sakes. Buy from somewhere else if you don't want to put your families lives in danger of being killed. The car had only 4 months MOT WHICH Saf actually forged by taking it from PETERBOROUGH to BIRMINGHAM to get an automatic pass, hiding the cars very unsafe problems revealed by MOT HISTORY CHECK. Previously a garage in Peterborough did all the MOT checks finding a list of issues as advisory which are now the major issues with the car. So in summary I got 4 months usage out of the car, before it became unfit for purpose. They even sold the car with one key. So I couldn't ever understand how the car could start with the key being in the back of my house. It turns out the ( 2nd key) they didn't know about themselves was in the glove compartment all the time. Someone could have broke in and just drove away with the key CITY MOTORS CAMB LTD. definitely do not check a single car or fix them before selling them. The Criminals! When I reported the issue to CITY MOTORS CAMB LTD. Saf said its my fault for driving the car. I got the car with steering problems, shock absorbers gone, rear parking sensor dislodged and a broken rear differential. They refused to fix the car and ignored all the messages there onwards. I've had to go to Trading standards. Be VERY VERY CAREFUL. This business is not safe for your lovely families.

City Motors from City Motors (Cambs) Limited in response to City motors camb Ltd sold me a very dang
Hi Richard, Whilst everyone has their own opinion it is only fair we respond to your review so the general public sees both sides to the story as yours doesn’t reflect both sides. You purchased a vehicle from ourselves in August and you reported a fault for the parking sensor the next day which we would cover for you however you had not got back into touch with us. You’ve drove the car for 4 months coming up to Christmas and all of sudden you have an issues with the shock absorbers at the point of your MOT. Shock absorbers are a ware and tear item and especially on a second hand car where the vehicle has done nearly a 100,000 miles you would expect them to fail at some point. Then the onus of liability would not be down to ourselves to replace these items. You knowingly signed and purchased a vehicle from ourselves with a 3 month warranty where we has asked you if you wanted to extend the warranty which you kindly declined. So we would like to ask yourself as a consumer, when do you feel the dealer should stop taking responsibility for a second hand vehicle and it’s mechanical needs ? At no point over the period of august till December did you report any faults to us regarding the car other than your parking sensor. I’m pretty sure over the 4 months you drove the car you was perfectly happy with it, otherwise you would have been back on to us regarding any problems with your so called dodgy car.
Bought a Nissan qashqai in June 2022 but after two months I had problems with the drive shafts, because I live far from Peterborough I too the car to my mechanic in London to replace both drive shafts. I contacted City motors and they did reimburse the money that I spent to fix the fault. I definitely recommend them.
Terrible, asked me my part ex details then didn't get back to me.
Ok so where do I start? Firstly I will say that whilst I didn’t purchase my car from City Motors, I did buy my car from their sister company Motor Express. Mo Razwan is one of the directors / employees for both businesses. April 2021 I purchased my Mazda CX-5 from Motor Express, I was assured it had had a full service and MOT. The day I collected the car it went into limp mode, this would have been apparent at the time of servicing and driving the car between dealer and garage, but Mo seemed shocked by what I had told him. Car was taken straight back to garage where it had been “serviced” to be told that there seemed to be an issue with the turbo. 3 weeks later I was advised a new turbo had been fitted. Collect my car, get it home to then notice a few days later it had an oil leak. I take the car to my own local mechanic who advised the turbo was possibly leaking from one of the seals, this was then repaired but the leak was from the sump not the turbo. Fast forward to July 2021 and the car goes into limp mode again, 6 weeks later I was eventually told the 2nd turbo had been replaced. The car was returned to me without the top or bottom engine covers and I was promised on numerous occasions that I would receive these through a courier. Fast forward again to November 2021 and I’d chased my engine covers again to be told that the business has been closed down and that I would not get my engineer covers. In January my car stopped and with several red warning lights on the dash, died on the fast Lane of the A1 motorway. I was on my home with my daughter who had been poorly in hospital. RAC attended and advised that it was highly likely my engine had blow up. Upon further inspection by the local Mazda dealer, it transpired that the timing chain had perished and made its way into the internals of the engine and rendering it useless. Mazda advised that upon checking the digital service record, my car had NOT been serviced by motor express because if they had, they would have seen that the timing chain needed replacing. Because of Mo’s complete lack of any morals he has allowed myself and my children to be driving around in a car that was clearly not road worthy from day one. Mo has refused point blank to accept any responsibility and even having the audacity to question why the finance company were winding up the finance. I am now without a car, I’m a single parent with 2 children yet I’m having to still pay the finance every month until the finance is wound up. I’ve suffered with severe mental health trauma over all of this stress and uncertainty and I cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel. MO RAZWAN YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. I’m clearly not the only person you have deceived. If I could give you minus stars I would.
