Travelled from Staffordshire to view a golf GTI at East Lancashire Car Centre. The dealership is up a gravel back round in the middle of nowhere. Car was incredibly dirty and looked like the sales man had been using it personally. The salesman was quite rude at times and quiet patronising. Yet the pictures on the website look very professional do not be fooled! Walked away and will not be returning total waste of my time. Stay clear!!!
Bought a car from these guys back in April. Really good service and the car is great, no problems at all and was good value for the price. The only issue I had was that one of the men at the dealership offered to send some paperwork off for me which was kind but he actually sent it quite late on so this caused a bit of mither but this has now been resolved and no longer an issue.

Would steer well clear. Unprofessional and failed to deliver on several promises of service. Soon as they have your money its good bye friendly service.
All went well at first they gave me all info on a k1 cupra which I did end up purchasing for a price of £13450 with only 40k which was a good price but after 4 weeks of owning the vehicle it put a rod through the block of the engine now costing around £3000 to fix and they are refusing to fix under the warranty I must say they were good until now just goes to show!!! Stay clear and shop around at all costs avoid these at ELCC as car may seem good but not worth the expensive hassle afterwards.
After arranging a test drive days prior, when we finally got to the "garage" which is a run down scrap yard in my opinion, the "salesman" at East Lancashire Car Centre would not allow us to test drive the car, he wanted us to get accepted on finance first! Total waste of time, very un-professional and would not recommend.

I made arrangements to go to them from Milton Keynes . That's 3.1/2 hours drive and £50 one way . And what a shambles it was . I had to park in a car In which is the address on there web site but is next to also ads of units . That look nothing like the pictures on there web site . I had to contact them by phone and was kept waiting for 20 minutes. Then was told to go into the units and the cars that I was interested in was there .but to my disbelief they where dirty and not clean at all and was just fobbed of with excuses. .i left straight away .. Please all that read this . Stay well clear and don't lose your money

Do not under any circumstance buy a car from East Lancashire Car Centre. There so.called show room is down a back ally which is impossible to find. They want you to pay the price they say with no room to negotiate but when you ask the sales man if he can.knock some money off he says " its not up to me mate" the bloke who it is up to you can't get hold of when you are there. You walk away and suddenly its up to the salesman in the yard. So my mate bought the car and it took nearly 2 month to send documents AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Your run of the mill car dealership really, I'd recommend them to anybody looking for performance hatchbacks as that's around 90% of what they sell. There was an issue with the part exchange, they lowered the agreed amount due to a mileage issue which I was oblivious to having bought the car second hand myself, that was a little annoying but otherwise the guys at East Lancashire Car Centre were fine and I'm happy with my car.

East Lancashire Car Centre are terrible. They have been reported and are known to trading standards. In my experience having purchased a car from here they sell crash damaged cars and when I bought mine they tried to bodge it and make a profit.

Bought from here back in May 2015 and all was sound, the bloke was friendly and knew his stuff, I was left to test drive the car and give it a check over and when I went back to pick it up it was gleaming. Good dealership.
