Purchased a 2017 Volvo S90 in December lovely motor.. took car to dealer to get cambelt & gearbox serviced and was told there was an oil leak and wrong colour coolent which woods wasn't happy paying the bill and said why take it to the dealer its not a new car! (New car to me) key battery replaced and oil topped up as it was 3/4 full, had 4x alloys buckled, rear shock leaking, boot catch not working, turbo sensor wasn't tight and failed battery & also NSR door is faulty when ntrying to close. Warranty wouldn't cover no repairs, I'm starting to think the car hasn't been serviced with yourselves if you've missed these problems.

Great service up until payment made then downhill very quickly indeed. After purchase Dropped car at my regular garage for a check over, two tyres one dangerous bulge on sidewall the other serious age cracking, also plugged in for service history check not quite what I was told when buying receipts on photocopy nothing matched up. On first contacting woods response from Neal (salesman ) “let me look into this “ then “ it’s not for him to answer” passed to after-sales. Fobbed off as nothing seems to be their problem once the cash is in their bank. Communication below fyi I am pretty disappointed in this transaction, and only putting this out there as information for future customers As for the judge service reviews I have never been contacted about my opinion so can only assume only happy transactions passed on easy to have great rating by manipulation. Many thanks for the email and apologies for the delay as i was under the impression that Neal was responding to you yesterday. We are based in a separate office from the showroom. Having checked out your concerns i can see that this car had a full MOT on it November 30th 2023 with no advisories in place. It failed on a lower arm which was replaced and then the car passed its MOT. There is no mention of tyres or brakes needing replacing or changing anytime soon as this would of been advised on the MOT. Please bare in mind that the car is nearly 8 years old and as such all items will be very used as commensurate with the age and mileage. The 12 months MOT with no advisories shows that there were no issues at point of sale so should you have any concerns the independent MOT station should be able to answer any of those. kind regards After sales Team Escalated to owner Reply To bring this to a conclusion we will offer £100 goodwill as full and final settlement so please forward bank details and we will arrange transfer on Monday. Bought a C Class Mercedes from Woods of Wirral with a pleasant initial experience. The car developed a fault on the way home from picking it up. on diagnostics it was found to have a history of errors. Woods of Wirral have basically washed their hands of it and said that's what the warranty is for!! Be warned, if you have a fault, don't expect them to help sort it.

Hi there, Apologies, but by leaving an anonymous review, we are unable to identify you or the vehicle you bought. We provide all customers with a free 3 month warranty on their car and so, if an issue does crop up after sale, we always direct the customer straight to to the warranty provider, as it is them that are the experts in fixing any issues on the car, which can be arranged at your local garage. Far from 'washing our hands' of the situation, we are directing the customer towards the best route to a quick resolution. In the event that the warranty does not cover or does not cover sufficiently, then usually there is a discussion had with the customer as to next steps. Sometimes, historic faults can crop up but are related to previous fault codes that have not been properly cleared, and it is a minor job to remove those. We are guessing in this situation obviously as we cannot identify you. We are sorry that you were disappointed and inconvenienced on this occasion. Best wishes Woods of Wirral

After sales is non-existent. Warranty from them seems to be worthless. Friendly in sales and adversarial if any problems after purchase. AVOID.
