My motorhome has just had its first engine service by the local Ford dealership. They pointed out that the rear high brake light was not working and that it was part of the Chausson warranty to rectify it. I called 3As this morning at 9.15, and got a helpful response from reception who passed me through to Sue, the warranty manager. She promised to search their stores for a replacement and rang me back to come straight down to get it fixed, despite the fact that their workshop was manic - when I went down, I actually saw how busy they were!! The work was done in 10 mins - my thanks to the technician and particularly to Sue for sorting it out so quickly. Problem sorted and I was home by 1300. Grateful thanks Sue. I hope it can be like this all the time.
Many have said it on here, 3As Caravans take your money and run. We bought a new van in April, still chasing responses. They said they had put a claim into Elddis, Elddis confirmed no claim had been raised. Did not receive the Reg documents from CRIS. Was told by 3As this was not their issue. Phoned CRIS to find that the van was still registered to them and that no registration had been performed. Great sales experience however wish i had seen these reviews before buying as i never would have!
AVOID 3AS CARAVANS. Great sales people, always helpful...BUT ... bought a new caravan and put in a px only to find out 3 weeks later they never paid off the outstanding finance. Only found out after I received a letter from finance company that they had not received my monthly payment. On contacting 3As they said they didn't know it had to be paid..LIE.. They made payment that day and forwarded me the email and copy of pending transfer to finance company..I thought great all settled, but 7 weeks after the initial purchase and px, I get another letter to say I had not paid my installment for my px...I contacted finance company and they confirmed that.no payment had been received... After numerous telephone calls to 3As.,they paid the majority, but guess what, the charges for late payment were still owing. They promised to return my calls but guess what...no calls received. I had then to take time off work and sit in reception until resolved They settled the outstanding balance whilst I was sitting there( 7 weeks too late). I requested compensation...£100 given...Bad credit for me? they said no, finance company. said couldnt say yes or no.. Incompetent accounts dept.. NEVER GO BACK THERE
This is the second Kontiki we have bought from 3As Caravans. Everyone has been very helpful and knowledgeable. If there is ever a problem it has been handled with the utmost professionalism. I have no hesitation to recommend this company. Due to relationship built over the years I could never see myself going anywhere else. Thank you all. Keith
went there to look for a motor hone with a £50000 budget, and he did not even come out of his office ! I informed him that someone had left a roof light open on one of the van and rain had come in and he did not even thank me. his loss bought a Auto trail 635 se from Kendal obviously got far too much money .
AVOID!!!! 3As Caravans is the worst company in the World! I bought a new Elddis caravan from there in April 2018. Didn’t arrive when they said it would. Missed an holiday that I had pre-paid for. That was only the start! Nothing but problems with the van. Water system didn’t work for 2 months and kept brushing me aside and wouldn’t come out to my caravan that was only sited down the road. If you manage to get them to pick up the phone, it’s always “I’ll get somebody to ring you back” full of liars! On one occasion I must have rang them 20 times to get an answer out of them! They hardly ever ring back . Don’t even bother email as they simply ignore you! My caravan when in for a service last week and it came out with more problems than when it went in despite promises to fix a few warranty issues! I would advice anybody to not buy from this company! Appalling warranty and after service! They take your money and run!! Rude awful Bunch of crooks!! They shouldn’t be in business!!

THE MANUFACTURER CORRESPONDENCE ( AVAILABLE) CONFIRMING OWNER ERROR DAMAGE ADVISED THAT THE DAMAGE WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER CONFIRMED THAT THE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY OWNER/USER ERROR WE HOPE THIS NOW CLARIFIES THE POSITION.
Richard from Salisbury. January 2019. When we decided to exchange our motorhome we found the best deal was to be had at 3a’s Caravans. However, having looked at some of the posts on line we approached the deal with great tripidation. Therefore it is with great pleasure and relief that we are now the proud owners of a beautiful nearly new motorhome. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with 3a’s. From Sales manager Richard, to the admin staff and mechanical engineers, all our encounters were helpful, pleasant and informative. The service was exceptional and second to none. We would highly recommend 3a’s to anyone

The only reason I bought my caravan from 3A Caravans was that they were the only ones with the model I wanted at the time. Due to problems with my previous 'van I needed a new one within a short space of time. On the agreed day that I was due to collect it I was told that the van would be ready shortly after lunch. This was then extended to late afternoon and actually happened as the dealership was closing. The handover was rushed. We identified that the jack was missing and was promised one would be sent to me within a couple of days. We eventually got it after a few weeks and numerous phone calls. There were numerous issues with the van that should have been picked up on the pdi. The awning light wasn't working and the alarm was faulty amongst them. They supposedly fixed the awning light and the alarm in time for my holiday. We found that the awning light switch now, not only turned on the awning light but also the two other outside lights. The alarm was still faulty. Each time I've taken the van back for either faults to be rectified or a service it has been returned with something missed or not done. There has never been any help to find the van amongst their large cluttered display or to hitch up. The van is usually blocked in by others or the exit from their premises is blocked. It's no surprise that they are known as the 'Carmarthen Cowboys'
Bought a new motor home from 3A Caravans in May picked it up drove a mile and half up the road and broke down, after kicking up a fuss they gave us another brand new one (so they said) although it was already registered to someone else even though it had not left the showroom ( didn’t ring true to me) anyway had nothing but trouble with things falling apart. After two months took it back and part ex’d It for a two year old better van thinking teething problems would be sorted. Yes it is a lovely motorhome but find a lot of sites won’t let us on because it’s over the 7.5 mtrs, so decided to part ex this one for a 7.5 mtr one. On checking find we haven’t had log book. Phoned the dvla and it’s still registered to the previous owner with the tax in his name, so we have been riding all around the country in a van that is not registered to us, driving on someone elses tax which then makes our insurance invalid! Phoned 3as Carmarthen and was told they had copy of recorded delivery slip saying it had been sent to Dvla, they said they hadspoke to them and it was all registered and waiting to be printed off, but it was ok for us to drive. I rang dvla again, they said definitely no record of any paperwork. So rang 3as again. They said Ann was on the phone anD would ring me back, no phone call so phoned again, was told she was still on the phone. I then told them the6 we’re lying anD if they had the log book I would have it back as I know someone working in dvla and could get it registered in three days and would rather they be honest with me. Also they charged me £255. Tax dvla told me tax is £165. Ten mins later I get a call from Ann to say looked at system again and been misunderstanding, the log book was still with previous owner and they would pick it up and deliver it to my home that night with a cheque for the tax of £255. Yes they did deliver it at 7.30 pm even though it wasn’t signed by previous owner, and also gave us a bottle of wine as apology! My concern is how many people are driving around illegally because of this company. Went to another dealer and they said they had a chap in who was driving around for a year after buying through 3as and they hadnt registered his either, plus our previous owner has now been done out of three months refund of tax. I would urge you all to check to make sure you have all your documents. Whilst driving to Crickhowell a white van man came around a bend on our side of the road anD took our wing mirror off, very frightening! Luckily for us now, he didn’t stop, because if he had I would have phoned the police. They would have then seized the van and we would have been done for no tax no insurance and basically not our van. 3A Caravans are very good at selling but that’s all.
