Bought a car from A1 Sports & Performance Cars and a few weeks later had trouble with the engine mount! Tried contacting and leaving endless messages but never replied! They just want your money and no after sale! Stay away from them...

Came to A1 Sports & Performance Cars to look at a car and one of the sales people took a car out in front of us with trade plates on, lit a cigarette and drove off with a car from their showroom now stinking of smoke. Changed our minds and went else where, disgusting habit and shouldn't be done in a car you are trying to sell
Put what was an on reflection, an extortionate deposit of £500 on a car which as we explained would not tow our caravan. promised to reimburse but after numerous telephone conversations where he was indisposed or on holidays eventually resulted in there being no web site or telephone link. IAm a pensioner who cannot afford to loose this amount of money!,!

Same happened to us we got scare from there and has a pro that didn’t want to sort out for us. Takes your money then nothing. Not sure if there still trading as can’t find a1 anywhere.
Friendly staff, helpful and not pushy. Seen car on internet took test drive and bought the car. So far after 3 months still well pleased, no problems.

Never, every, ever buy a car from A1 Sports & Perrformance Cars. I bought my car from them about 10 months ago and have had non stop trouble with it since. First of all the engine management light came on, after 1 day of owning the car! which then took them ages to "fix" then after around a week of it being "fixed" it came on again! It has since repeatedly broke down with problems with the gear box, electrics, oil pressure and opening of the boot. Complete waste of time and money, please do yourself a favour and do not buy from this garage, extremely unprofessional. absolutely horrendous.
