My wife and i are both disabled, we purchased a car for nearly £5000 and our car as part exchange. The car was 80 miles away, so we purchased it on Alan the owners word. It was delivered within 5 mins the gear cable broke and the car was stuck in first gear, on taking it to a garage the thermostat houseing was also leaking coolant AK simpson said it was a new housing, obviously cheap products. And said the mechanic who said the gear cable was wrong and sent me a clip to sort out the problem. NEVER BUY FROM THIS SELLER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. When i spoke to this to Alan he ssid i shouldnt have purchased if i wasnt happy. Thou being so far away i took his word on the car. Get ready for his excuses!!! You will find them on all his reviews. Your choice.

im sorry if you have had an issue with your car a few months ago now, but we do our best with any used car they may have a small issue , if the car was driven 80 miles with no issues , i m just as shocked as you as to how the clip came off. i apolgised and i even offered a refund. As for the thermostat housing ,we dont make the parts they are supplied by local car spares shops, so i think your review is totally unfair you were supplied with a warranty , as for you to accuse me of saying you shouldnt of purchased if you were not happy , i would never say that, you said that you were happy with my reviews , hence why you purchased the car , you mentioned about key board warriers ruining peoples business yet you write a review that i totally disagree with. without being able to defend myself.
My Wife bought a ford B Max from Alan, and got a very fair price for her car. The car was prepped, and serviced. It was a pleasure buying a car from Alan, who also said any issues just call and will sort any faults out, if there was any. No pressure sales, very friendly and give all the information we need, Alan even completed all the paper work, and the new car had a full tank of fuel. Thank you Alan. Gina & Rob

I needed a cheap runner and came across a Corsa here at AKS. A couple of minor issues, well it was only 500 quid!, and it's now a good little runabout. No problems with the guys, they were nice and friendly and I'd certainly recommend them to my friends.
disgusted with the way they spoke to me and didn't keep me posted on the vehicle I was going to purchase so I canceled the deal, I was then spoke to like a child. No respect

Recently bought a bmw from AK Simpson car sales the car had somehow just passed a mot 5 days prior to me buying it it had a faulty emissions sensor a sized calliper needed a disk and break pad luckily they didn’t fail!!! One of the front shockers was soaked in hydraulic fluid they did however fix the calliper replaced a pad and disc after threatening to take them to court stay well clear of this place clearly using faults MOT’s I’d advise anyone buying a car from this place to take a mechanic and get the car checked over COWBOYS

I recently purchased a Mini Cooper S clubman from AK Simpson Car Sales and found the owner to be very helpful, particularly when dealing with a couple of issues that appeared after I had bought the car. He arranged to take it to a mechanic business locally and without any hesitation covered the costs of repairs under the 3 month warranty.

Bought a motor some years ago Ford c max1.6 from AK Simpson Car Sales. Awful dealer, con man, and lier, Nothing but TROUBLE with the pig in a bag I bought. Pdf & piston trouble to say the least. I was advised to get rid over here in uttoxeter. The motor stood me at 3,500 pound. Worst motor I've ever bought, saw me comming, all the way from uttoxeter. After seeing other poor reports about this unscrupulous con man I just thought ide make you aware of my dreadful experience with all Simpson. Never, ever again! DISCUSTING. ( I'm surprised there still there). My advise stay well clear, I mean this.

We have been here over 30 years and you are someone who doesn't even exist. as your name isn't on our data base which is over 5 years old. why would you bother writing review, I hadn't even seen your review until a happy customer told me about it.
AK Simpson Car Sales have a car to suit every budget and genuinely can' t do enough to help you, Every little helpful thing is done to make your car buying experience a total pleasure. Paul is just a smiley ball of energy who is so full of banter you find yourself laughing along and the whole experience is just very pleasant, but these are professional people who know their stuff and are totally honest and keep to their word. I have found them to be honest, helpful, reliable and very pleasant and easy to deal with. Also I have not felt that horrible pit of the stomach feeling that I'm being 'had'. I would recommend this car dealership. Its well worth a visit.
