I am amazed to find this negative review, more than 2 years later on a site that I have never seen before, and I can genuinely say that it is the first to know about it! I use two different and totally trustworthy independent MOT stations to MOT my cars. Yes I have my own workshop, but one of the reasons I would never have an MOT station as well as a workshop is to avoid the suspicion of passing MOT's illegally. Had the 'customer' had an issue, surely they would have followed it up with me, or taken the necessary complaint procedure with VOSA? I would ask potential customers to look at all the other reviews I have on my Facebook page (Alyn Brewis Nice-Cars), Car Gurus, Auto Trader, Google etc etc and make their own mind up on my reputation. I don't claim to be perfect, but I care.

Only just seen this review, and I remember the circumstances so I can only presume it was written before he contacted me about it, as my explanation at the time was accepted by him with embarrassment. His ‘trusted’ mechanic is obviously not actually a mechanic as both of the tyres were on the same axle, so neither dangerous nor illegal. I have my own workshop but we don’t do MOT’s, they are carried out by one of two independent MOT testing stations that I use. Unfortunately, this reviewer, a young lad, has been badly advised, and has incorrectly believed what he was told by someone he trusts. I would ask readers of this review to take it at face value and read all the other customer reviews about me and my company. I was awarded CarGurus 5* Dealer Award for customer satisfaction 2017.
